Yeah it seems pretty arbitrary what Amazon Japan is and isn't willing to ship to the US. So I don't consider them a reliable source on preorder days.

Yep HLJ and Ami's new sites suck pretty hard. What good is making your website all pretty if it doesn't f***ing work? Thank goodness for CDJ.

Amiami kept crapping out and now says "sold out" on the bottom even though the orange order button is still there. HLJ also crapped out during checkout. Got my 3x at CDJ though. YAY!

Amiami's site more or less works okay. HLJ on the other hand... half the time when I try to buy something it'll show nothing in my cart, or it just won't load the cart page at all. And it's slow as f*** the rest of the time when it does (eventually) work. Anyone know how to do Advanced Search on HLJ's new site? Or was that removed entirely?

I'm sure you heard the story "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" when you were in elementary school. I'm also sure your teacher told you the moral of the story was "you should never tell lies because no one will believe you when you tell the truth" or something like that. That's the wrong lesson. The valuable lesson from that tale is "you should never tell the same lie twice." So the lesson from your experience isn't that you should never order from one shop. It's that you shouldn't trust NY twice with any valuable preorders. Also, HMR releases don't suffer from the same PO madness as DX releases.

Lol I meant I don't want 3x preorders from 3 shops; I want to get all 3 from one shop so I don't have to pay 3 shipping fees.

Friend emailed me earlier asking if I got my 31A yet. Told him I've had mine since April. He then cursed NY and wished he had just taken my usual offer to preorder an extra valk for him. Another satisfied customer!

Yep. Daylight saving time was moved to after Halloween due to lobbying from candy makers. I'm not worried about getting a VF-4 preorder. I'm concerned about getting 3x preorders from three different shops. Here's hoping it's not limit one everywhere.

Great collections and displays guys! I like the cleaner displays like that. Not that there's anything wrong with cramming as many battroids as you can onto a single shelf, but it's great to have them a little spaced out so each valk can stand out more.

I bought a second used VF-11B just so I could switch the cockpit module on my brand new VF-11B so it would have a rainbow canopy. -
Canopy frame is supposed to be white. Preorder canceled.

I was planning to paint over those areas anyway. I might replace those markings with decals, but I'll wait till I have it in hand and working on it before I decide.

Happy birthday, old man! Also, I before E except after C. 31F reissue epilogue: I swung by the post office this morning and my package was still there, waiting to be picked up. USPS neither made a single redelivery attempt nor did they actually bother returning it to sender. So, I guess yay for indifference/laziness/incompetence cutting both ways?

Alright, I get my own tale to bellyache about! So USPS attempted to deliver my 31F reissue this past Saturday but left a notice. I did take a nap that morning, but it's even money they didn't bother coming to the door at all. Fine. No big deal. I requested a redelivery for Monday. No mailman ever came to the door on Monday. I requested a redelivery for Tuesday. No delivery attempt made that day. So late Tuesday afternoon I actually called USPS to file a complaint, and requested a redelivery for Wednesday. No delivery attempt made on Wednesday. I did receive a phone call from someone at my local post office who told me the item would be redelivered tomorrow. Fine, whatever. No delivery attempt earlier (Thursday). So I called USPS and filed another complaint. Then when I tried to put in another redelivery request, I get a message saying item has been returned to sender. WTF? Notified HLJ and going to file yet another complaint with USPS. I'm hoping HLJ will let me stick it back in PW and I can just ship it with my November or December stuff. It's just the 31F reissue and a couple of miscellaneous snacks so I can wait. Still, just when I think USPS can't get any worse, they manage to go even lower. Anyway, back to regular programming. Can't wait to get my hands on Chuck's 31!

If it's non-transformable then I expect it to have LEDs like the other releases in the line.
