Are people already panicking over the add-ons when we haven't even gotten the valk yet? It would be a crappy thing to do if Bandai went the video game route and tried nickel & dime us, but that's yet to be seen. (Though trying to charge $100 for accessories for the Figuarts Iron Man is f***ing outrageous.) And unlike DLC, Bandai is unlikely to release a discounted bundle pack later on down the lane.

That's interesting. I think the Yamato/Arcadia VF-4 had stickers for the SDF marking and wondered where it came from. The wing flap markings still look weird to me and I'm going to be painting over that area anyway, so they're still coming off.

Yeah. I was really thinking of the concurrent releases of the Yamato and Andromeda. A movie version at this scale would be neat, though I hope the proportions aren't as odd as the TV release.

I was looking at the numbering on the wings. Looks odd, is all. I'll probably take them off with some turpenoid (much more effective than alcohol). Not sure why all the modex numbers are 01 when it should be 101 like on the front fuselage. Guess the UN Spacy is really cutting back on the painting budget.

Haven't watched the movie yet, so is it supposed to be all white like that? All that plain white with no additional details or markings looks pretty bland.

Does it transform? Will it have LED lights like the other Kikan Taizen ships? And why is Bandai competing with themselves? (Megahouse is a Bandai subsidiary.)

Probably the most exciting thing I've seen from the event. Gonna have to prepare another scaled down decal sheet for this baby. Are there supposed to be modex numbers on the wing flaps like that? Seems a bit wonky to me.

Yup, that's what I first thought of when we started getting reports of broken lasers. Bandai: The broken head lasers are there so people can recreate this scene!

Those are the fighter mode-only releases, which were painted metallic. So it's just the lighting making Ozma look dark. Did they include the Sheryl and Ranka stands? -
Doesn't matter how nice the packaging looks if you receive a broken item. It sucks.

Hey spanner, you ever watch Doug's channel on Youtube? Does great reviews on lots of fantastic and sometimes obscure cars. I especially love it when he reviews really terrible and bizarre cars. Like the Aston Martin Lagonda: Anyway, finally got around to opening the HLJ Sheryl Nome lucky bag from a couple months back. In addition to the Sheryl figure, I got a puzzle! For me this is pretty cool since I've picked up a lot of puzzles from Frontier and, if I can find the time, wanted to put them together and hang them up as wall art.

Mine should be here later today. Doubt any other 31 is going to be the fiasco that the 31A was. WIth this release, my wallet can finally take a break until the DX 1J comes out. This has been an expensive past few months!

Great setup! But one of those things doesn't quite belong there. Yeah it's great that Bandai made it so the gunpod could be mounted together with the arm cannon, it looks rather ridiculous with the gunpod hanging so low. Just hanging out there in the open, flopping around for all to see...

I'll be in Akihabara sometime early next year, but who wants to wait that long? Not like you'll get them much cheaper than what you'll find on Mandarake, game prize and Ichiban figures alike. They'll start off moderately pricey then drop off over time. I picked up all the Figuarts Zero variants, but for their movie outfits I prefer the Ichiban Kuji releases.

Got charged for the 31. Wasn't expecting it till the end of the month.

Original price was like 8800 yen or so. High secondary market prices because the armor parts are awesome and Frontier was a much better show.

Ohhh extra pylons would be nice, as the YF-19 set does not have enough for all the ordinance (if you plan on using the extras on other Bandai valks).
