    I enjoyed Nemesis! Not because it was a good movie; it was goddamn awful. But it was so awful it was strangely enjoyable, much like Star Trek V.

    Meh, those are okay. Not every ship can be a first-rate beauty like the refit Constitution. We prefer things we're familiar with, after all. I wasn't wild about the Enterprise-E when I first saw it in 1996, but it's grown into a favorite of mine. What's with the orange bussard collectors? Going retro TOS there?

    Oh yeah, those damned pilots. I blue tacked mine into their seats so they wouldn't flop around the cockpit. But yeah, like on my latest batch of VF-4 photos, I ended up reshooting the battroids like 4 times because there was one little thing or another. And even the final product isn't perfect, but it was late and I just said screw it. Yeah, that sounds pretty frustrating. I wish I had saved some of the screw ups, but here's one from awhile back. This one is an especially insidious one for me, because I often don't spot it till it's up on my 4k monitor. It's really easy to see on this one, but often it's very obscure. Can you spot it? There's a stray cat hair on the right air intake. This happens all the damn time to me, and most of the time they're next to impossible to see even with the valk right in front of me, as the hairs are very fine. Only on the big monitor do I usually catch them. A stray hair just randomly floats in on the air from time to time. And sometimes I catch more than a hair in a picture.

    Well hey, I've developed a new appreciation for the effort you have to put into your shots. From getting camera settings right, to painstakingly setting up each shot, then post processing it... then having to reshoot it because you left a panel out of place or something. That last one might just be me.

    Whoops, nothing like that. The chest on my copy simply will not stay put and always pops out of place.

    I don't see how this is a problem. I wasn't satisfied with how plain it looked out of the box (even the HMR VF-1 has navigational light details) so I had to fix her up myself. Additional pics with other modes.

    Thanks. Ordered a set. Found the site with the other add-ons, too. Going to get the Nano Gauntlet and Tony Stark head and other Mk.85 accessories. Bandai's double dip strategy is so lame.

    Keeping both. Bandai's fighter is kinda chubby in those pics and front fuselage looks better on the Yamato. All those printed stripes just serve to make it look fatter. Yamato for fighter, Bandai for battroid.

    If you absolutely must have a VF-2SS at 1/60 and have sufficiently low expectations, it might be worth it. I mean really, really low expectations. This thing is significantly crappier than the HMR version in all modes. ET did sell a SAP set separately but that's long sold out. You'll have to get the Faerie Squadron bundle if you want the SAP. Or maybe check Yahoo auctions and see if anyone is selling the SAP set. I had both and promptly sold them because they were such terrible toys. They would have been decent in 1995, but not today, at their MSRP.

    I've never heard that saying before, but you should totally get that Roy and a few magic brownies. Ah I love checking in and seeing Saburo's name on the forum last posted, since it'll be something good.You even color corrected the oversaturated blue.
