If you're the kind of person who tries to do what's seen in the movies, then you are a Darwin award waiting to happen. If you see a 6'2" tower of muscle walking naked through the streets at night, don't go messing with that person like someone in the movies would. You get away and call the police.

I for one would love more decals available for all the various Macross releases over the years. The 1/48 DX has a ton of markings already printed on it, but Bandai somehow managed to miss a number of key markings (ejection seats, skull insignia) that I consider a must. Then there's Arcadia's stuff, which is expensive already, and I think for many of us a decal sheet would be preferable to buying the more expensive PF edition. Unless of course all future PF releases are beautifully weathered like the 0D...

Yes the YF-30. The VF-31A only swaps out a few parts but is otherwise the same as the other 31s so that's still milking the mold.

No rush. I've no plans to put any additional work on this one. It'll have to stand plain next to it's VF-4 sibling.

I'm still amazed that Bandai would create an entirely new mold for transforming valkyrie just to do a single run with no variants or reissues to milk it.

Haha thanks. Yeah I don't spend any time on Arcadia landing gear since they're already white and I have everything displayed "in flight" on Yeti stands. I guess I could go back and just do a quick wash... -

Had a spare Arcadia PF VF-1S so I touched it up a bit. Since it's my extra I kept a totally clean, brand new appearance for it. -

I have many Yeti stands and never had a problem with the acrylic breaking. Sorry to hear you got the rare bad apple. If you contact Yeti I'm sure he will replace any defective parts free of charge.

The answer to your questions is no. And yeah, this release and the Yamato YF-19 were notorious for having exploding shoulders/upper arms. The Arcadia VF-0 uses metal for those parts. -
Looks alright. I don't like the color arrangement around the chest intakes. If it's supposed to be Roy's colors, shouldn't the chest stripe be black and the area behind it be yellow? Oh well I'll wait and see how I feel about it when I have it in hand. Not sure I'll bother putting any extra work into this one.

I don't listen to so-called Trek "fans" who think they're some kind of authority on what "real Trek" should be. It's pretty obvious when someone hates something before it even started. On another note, that trailer for the next episode was goofy as hell. Though not really any goofier than any past Trek where the crew had to dress up and "go local" (was never a fan of such episodes).
