    You haven't seen the Detolf shelf adapters? They slide on to the shelves and you can run the arms right off of them. If you want to use them in a non Detolf the glass needs to be thin enough to slid into it. The slots are .180" ( just under 3/16"). Being plastic they could be opened up though. You also need a big enough gap between the shelf and the cabinet sides. .4365". I didn't end up needing them. I have four. Here is a pic I found on Google that is somewhere else on this site. The ones I have a white.
