From a purely business perspective it doesn't matter how many people despise Bandai.....................................if they are doing the sales volume that they want to. If every one of us boycotted Bandai they wouldn't even notice. This is how capitalism works. The best worst system. From a "Zen" perspective I don't let it bother me (I have MUCH bigger problems). What Bandai does or doesn't do isn't on my radar at all. It is what it is. That doesn't mean I like or agree with it though.

I just got two more Roy's through eBay. $316.47/ unit shipped DHL. Maybe release day will have deals better than that. Maybe not. I just wanted to get it locked in and not worry about it.

I figured since I alreday have cough, cough four YF-21's (I love the 21!) I would get two Bandai's. One for Battroid and one for Gerwalk and keep the Yamato's for Fighter. The Yamato I have in Battroid I put on a YetiStand "flying" because the legs just suck.

You would be looking at adding about $75 to go through Tenso shipped DHL. So yeah, about the same amount as I have seen them on feeBay for. My fingers are crossed for release day AmazonJP availability shipped direct to the US via DHL for $300 or less. I need a couple more.

Wound you be able to scan something let's say 18x18x18" with the new one you have coming? Is it easier to deal with if you only want a 2D scan of something? For example I find myself needing to pull bolt patterns off of stuff a lot that I can't get coordinates for. I've had to put entire engines (guts removed) in the mill and manually locate all of the points. It......kinda........sucks as I'm sure you can imagine.

Ok guys (and girl), I just watched the "battle" scene with Hikaru in the 1D rescuing/picking Minmay up. What would you say is the most iconic mode/display? Gerwalk with Minmay in the VF-1's hand or "Reverse Half-walk" (arms out but legs still in fighter mode) with Minmay in hand? Follow up question, can you get a DX into "Reverse Half-walk"? I think you can. I'm thinking as far as display goes Gerwalk is probably the best option. Doing the "Reverse Half-walk" would only really work if it's angled nose down....a lot. Which would take up quite a bit of display space (unless it was pointed straight down). Maybe no more space than Gerwalk though. I suppose a master level display would be "Reverse Half-walk" with the VF's arm shot off (Minmay in hand) "floating" next to the Valk. I'm not going for master level though. That sounds like a lot of work! Anyhoo, thoughts?
