This could be a site mistake. but the Tamashii site says that over seas cards can be used. I wonder if that is a thing once you have established a real JP address (not Tenso, etc)???? I guess I'll find out the 6th.

Lucky for me I don't. Tekering screwed me by posting pics of his Kakizaki about 5sec after they were released. I really liked the green when I saw it not in advertising photo's. So I took the last shelf available in my Macross cabs and made it into a DYRL/Skull Squadron shelf. And that's all she wrote. I have a little more room, but I don't have any room for wholesale changes. Part of me is relieved. I'm safe until I get a bigger house (too much sunlight in the rest of my current house to display more tpys).

He still has US based banking as well as JP banking. When I approached him about this he alreday had a system in place to move money back and forth. I'm not sure what it is yet. Early days. He thinks that he can use a US based card through Tamashii as long as it's shipping to his JP address. I want a Gundam thingmajigger that goes live Nov 6th I think it is. We're going to use that as a test run. Kind of a crazy story. I'm really, really good friends with his Dad. We have been working on projects together for almost 20yrs now. His son (my buddy too) used to work for me trackside when I was dong suspension engineering. He would help unload the trailer, set up, manage making sure I was fed, took care of the money/transactions (if it was that sort of event), etc, etc, etc. He started when he was 14 and worked every summer through the end of high school. When he was back in the summers from college he used to work for me in my new gig and was also my bodybuilding workout partner. He got some sort of computer engineering degree or something but also learned Japanese. When he was done with school he bummed around for about a year as a personal trainer then landed a gig teaching English in JP. He moved over there and within a year met a Shinto Priestess and they're engaged now. I'm not sure exactly what that is but from what I understand it's kind of like minor royalty or something? Her family is certainly well off. He was always a little lazy. I think he landed right where he was supposed to. I was going to go visit this winter......but COVID.

So, no different than right now. I guess this is the new normal. Because of all of this I just signed up for a DHL Business account and I'm currently negotiating rates from Japan to the US. Good thing I have a buddy who lives in JP. He's going to be my new "Tenso". Also my Tamashii Nations buyer.

Ahhhhh, but the 1J pilot is not the right pilot for the 1S with Supers. It doesn't have a space helmet. He'll die man!!!!!

The problem is Roy never had Supers or Reaction Missiles in DYRL. If you set it up like that the Cannon Police will "SWAT" you in the middle of the night. I got two sets of TV Supers............I have no idea what for. The probably never going to happen SDFM Hikaru 1S release? Or do a custom Hikaru based on the Roy? The decals aren't a big deal but where do you get a Hikaru Pilot with a SDFM Space helmet/suit at? Sacrifice one from a DYRL 1S and paint it so you can never really sell that DYRL 1S. Or put it in Fighter or Gerwalk? Geez Bandai, you make this stuff hard.

Mine took the hit when the PO launched. That means they're free now right?

I'm glad you brought that up. Is there a go to method of surface prep to get paint to stick? Zillion grit sandpaper? 3M pad? Some sort of chemical treatment? I only want to paint these Chunkies once. Thanks!

Good thing I just threw all that stuff away a few weeks ago! I'll look for some ABS somethingorother. Thanks! EDIT: I just order d a bunch of little "squares" of white ABS on eBay for $20 shipped. They will probably last forever.

I have quite a few paints to test and was trying to come up with what I was going to spray. PVC tubing (plumbing) popped into my head. To you guys think that's a good stand in for a 1/55 Chunky Monkey (which I will be painting a few of)? Thanks!
