Finished up the latest season of Billions. This one was a HUGE departure from previous seasons. I won't explain why because of spoilers. Unfortunately it lost some of it's core feel. I'm not going to say it was bad. But it's not the old Billions. I'll watch the next season because the show is still ok (it's been greenlit already).

Natascha McElhone is playing Dr. Catherine Halsey (and her clone). Cortana is voiced by Jen Taylor. From what I can gather she did the motion capture work too which may explain why Cortana looks more like Taylor than McElhone. I kinda like McElhone’s wig. But I have a huge weakness for cosplay girls, mid 20th century hair styles and visual items that most think are weird, fake looking or stand out. Also, not germane to this particular look, I’m a sucker for tattoo’s on women too.

I'm mostly concerned that they succeed and can continue to support their families. I'm not worried about not being able to get more toys out of them very much. I'm not suggesting anyone here feels differently.

I don't have an issue with an unlikable character. I think it would be lacking if there were not a whole range of character traits. It's when every character is unlikable where I have a problem. There needs to be a balance. And I'm not conflating "likeable" with good guy or unlikable as "bad guy". I think it's possible to dislike the good guy and like the bad guy for example. A perfect example of this would be The Expense. Holden is a good person who is always trying (and usually succeeding) in doing the right thing. Amos on paper is a "bad person". He's 100% psychopath. But, I find Holden annoying and Amos fascinating. The key here is that the writers gave you both to play off each other.

I really wanted to pick this up but none of my cabinets are deep enough for it.

Just raw materials have gone up on price 15-30% in the last 3mo. Shipping (don't forget, they need things shipped to them, things shipped back and forth between subcontractors, etc. It's not just the shipping to us) has gone up 25-35%. Just the price of boxes has gone up 20-25%. Everything that has to do with producing a product is skyrocketing in price. I live it every day. I'm having a hard time keeping up with raising retail prices on my website to cover my new costs they're coming so fast and hard. On shipping cost it's not just the cost of let's say shipping a container from the CCP to the US. That has gone up tenfold. It's that a lot of companies can't wait for how long shipping takes now so they have had to ship to air freight. Which increases costs a LOT MORE. To meet deadlines I've had to have my last two freight shipments out of China sent air freight. The per unit shipping cost is now more than the cost of the units themselves. On top of that inflation is making your money less valuable It's buying power) at rapid rate. On top of that you have the raw material shortages that not only delay things. But because they screw up schedules and tie up more working capital this also causes cost increases. People can hope and wish that what is happening is not happening. But it is. And it's going to get worse. And it's in all probability going to lead to an unprecedented crash. A lot of people in the know think we will see a historical change in the world economy and quality of life impact that will take 20-30yrs to recover from. Buckle up kids. Even if it's 25% as bad as it probably will be. It's going to be bad. You can't run a debt based economy/ Ponzi scheme for 90yrs and then shut the world economy down for 18-24mo without their being a major problem. Like a heavy duty drug addiction, eventually everything catches up with you.

1.) Because they need to sell product to stay in business. Despite the worldwide production problems they still need keep producing things. The other option is to close up shop. 2.) They could select a different subcontractor to assemble the Tomahawk so they don't have to wait for the YF-19 assembler to finish.

Me too. It feels like it's getting in its groove now.

Thanks Looks like I missed the penis cover. Do you see anything else? I did do a couple of the unleashed things. They get pretty out of hand pretty fast though so I chose to keep it subtle. The NU looks pretty good in there I think. I'd like to do a dynamic pose with it and the Unicorn. But boy oh boy they start taking up some ROOM! I'll play around with it in the next few weeks. I was waiting on the Unicorn to see what I had to work with on that shelf before I went further. -
Welcome to the new normal. And it's going to get worse. Not only are the supply chains shattered. Raw materials are becoming a problem. Next will be food shortages. Probably not the inability to get food. But the food choices will be dropping (they alreday are). And of course everything is getting a lot more expensive. As a retailer I can't even keep up with having to update my site with the new/higher prices they're shooting up so fast. My raw materials, component and shipping costs have been going through the roof. Assuming that they are available to buy at all. The two years of COVID are going to be considered "the good ol days" here pretty soon.

I get where you're coming from. There are a LOT of TV/movies where everyone on/in them is unlikable. I think the anti hero thing has gone too far in a way. And that is coming from someone who really likes the anti hero. The anti hero needs a foil though. It also doesn't help that so many actors are absolutely rotten people in real life and all over the news, social media, etc. reminding you and it. How am I suppose to watch something with them in it when I can't stop thinking about what a rotten person they are? If people can do it, all power to them. I'm not one of those people though.

They're probably mostly unrelated. The YF-19 is most likely being assembled/boxed by a subcontractor. It's not like the Arcadia designers are tied up "in back" putting YF-19's together.
-
I don't know if you think this applies to the Arcadia 0S. But I have three with Yamato Ghost's on them (one in each mode) and they have been 100% issue free. Granted, they have only been that way for 3ish yrs??? I did use a teeny tiny bit of Blue Tack in some key spots to keep everything shored up though.
-
Oh, they'll be $300+. Between Arcadia pricing and inflation SKYROCKETING all of this stuff is going to go up in price for a while. It has only just begun. Get ready for a bumpy ride.

I'd be interested in this. Not sure what I would do with it though........

As much as I would desire a 0A re-issue. I just couldn't muster the desire or means to sell my two Yamato 0A's w/ Ghost Boosters and replace them with Arcadia's. I'd want to do it. I just don't think I would. The Yamato's look good enough I suppose.
