    Bandai DX VF-31

I'm liking the TEAL more and more.
  2. Agreed. But here's a thought. Maybe Arcadia is just waiting for the right moment to announce those 1/60 reissues when Bandai announces the release date for those orange valks in HM-R forms just to go head-to-head with. And IF that happens, I'll stick with Arcadia.

    Hi-Metal R

Hahaha! I just thought of your SDF-1 review after you mentioned that. But will she do the whole review this time then? Coz this specific Destroy Monster doesn't transform like the MM Makurosu does. Mine is more like "Toys again?" with matching raising eyebrow. Hahaha! Maybe she needs to start her own channel to review Macross toys. That would be something.
  4. That's so nice, Bobby! Curious. What's scale is the big one? Is that an old Bandai model kit?
  5. Whoops! Wrong reply. Wrong thread. Hehehe. But, yeah, I think it will be ok since they learned their lessons back then. Unless ofcourse, this release might inherit the infamous VF-171 CF syndrome. Which I hope won't happen. Coz this fighter valk looks cooler to have a problem upon release.
  6. Oh so true. I wasn't in the game back then but that VF-1J is now part of my VF-1 wishlist besides VF-1D and VT-1. So I also wish that Arcadia will reissue those like what they did with VF-4G.
  7. Looks like it's still a wait and see kind of thing. And that's killing most of us, right? You mean like the VF-25 v1 releases? If so, I have a feeling it's not since it's already based on Chronos. Unless I misunderstood your post.
  8. I don't have the Yamato Garland's, but how tall are those compared to this Fewture one? I really like the design and it's going to be my first Garland mecha toy, but the price is the only thing that's stopping me.
  9. Nice find, Gary! I'm so super jealous. Hahaha! I love his car actually. Is that the one that transforms into a robot? By the way, no 'Buknoy' figure so far?

    Bandai DX VF-31

I might say, Bandai is just kind enough to give you guys a breather since most of you will buy their HM-R Destroy Monster in multiples. Not to mention the other upcoming HM-R releases this year and that aformentioned 1/35 VF-1J. Oops, now I'm just teasing. Hehehe.
  11. Hmmm. With that price point, I think I'll pass on this. I might use that amount though on Olson's Orguss instead.
  12. Probably sh9000 is referring to the old Takatoku 1/3000 version and assuming that Bandai acquired it somehow for reissuing like the 1/55 Valks(?).

    Bandai DX VF-31

I agree with this. And thought of it too. It's just that, it would be nice to have different pods for each Valk color from the very beginning and still have other various pods as the series progresses. Imagine, multiple different pods for each Valk. Looks promising and devastating at the same time for people's wallets.
  14. Nice! The Perfect Edition of MACROSS the MOV!

    Bandai DX VF-31

Hmm. Kind of like dissappointed to see the other 4 have the same pod system. I was hoping to see different pods for each. I also assumed that one of them would somehow carries the same missile pod from Chronos but only revised a little. Guess, we can't have it all, eh?
  16. From what I remember it was kind of like made-to-order since it was a Web Store exclusive back then. So yeah, they produced a few compared to the other shelf warmer Valks that they have. From what I gather so far about the Yamato Valk release is that its done pretty well. It's unique and one of a kind. And when Yamato closed down the supply and demand action kicks in afterwards. So I guess, the premium price is still in effect it's because it was made by the now defunct Yamato company. But if you're going to ask me, play smart and be money-wise on this one and get the reissue since it's still made by the same group of people who produced the old one. Actually, it's the price I paid for getting the extra one from Yamato prior of the reissue announcement. With the money I spent with those two Yamato's, I should probably own 3 Arcadia VF-4G by now. But in the end, I'm really glad that I own the Yamato version since they have a cool looking box than Arcadia's. Screw those window boxes.
  17. That green glassed blue haired guy is really a one man army.
