Ok. Now I'm confused. Are those DYRL whites on the Packs' Missiles? Coz the previous photos shows same Arcadia whites on the Packs' missiles. If that it is, then this set is easy pass for me. Though I do need extra Packs.

As far as I remember from the discussion of the Yamato ones from previous pages, Yamato only have loose missile tabs, and loose left elbow joints. Both ankles on my 2 Yamato ones are all good. I think with Arcadia releases, it's better to pay this MSRP with loose joints than pay the Yamato ones for whooping $800-1000. Besides most people here love this only for Fighter mode. Just saying.

Congrats everyone! Guess people are just waiting for the Arcadia bundle release. Nah. Count me out on this one. But kidding aside, I would love to have one but I don't like somehow the proportion.

Actually I do understand people's frustration on this matter. I too get frustrated sometimes. Price vs Quality vs Quantity and stuff like that. But the thing right now is that both licenses or both variants holds by different companies. If people wants 1/60 scaled of VF-1's then the only choice they have is Arcadia right now. If people just collects the recent show or something closer to 1/60 then that's Bandai DX line. But there's no VF-1 yet from that line. And there's the HM-R line too. But that's a different scale for that matter. But yeah, I'm also looking forward to Bandai's DX VF-1. I'm curious on their take of this classic valk.

It's hard to compare the price to VF-19 Advance since that one is made by Bandai, in which we all know a bigger company than Arcadia. Their production is pretty much different to what Arcadia uses.

True. Question, do you prefer the TV color ones or the DYRL ones? For me, I kinda like the TV color one even though I don't have it. But somehow my eyes is already adjusted on the DYRL ones.

Me too. Only my Hikaru VF-1J I like in bare Fighter mode. So classy and sexy.

I'm not sure that's their standard now to include the stands. Probably they're just gonna do another limited run for the first 20 preorders within Japan. But I think that's too much because with VF-4G they just offered Gunpod. And how big the box going to be with the stand included?

Agree. I mean, for the Yamato bundle prices that's going on in second-market? The new price is not so bad. It's almost the same, if not, it's cheaper. And you will get no shoulder problem for one thing. But color-wise, that's a different issue.

Arcadia is funny because that's what they're doing now. For sure they're tracking second-market prices and if they know that most people are willing to pay for $150-180 just for the Strike/Super Packs, consider the VF-1 that came with it is just an added bonus.

If panel lining will add cool factor on the toy, why not? Just make sure you topcoat it to lock the paint. And post some pics when you're done.

I know what you mean. the arm missile I will understand. But don't you think it's kinda awkward to mount the off-white Reactive Missile holder underneath the pink hued VF-1 wing.

I agree with you here, David. As much as I would like to have only the Packs, it won't justify for me to buy a set just to get the packs to match my Arcadia 1S Hikaru's and to dispose the Roy 1S that came with it. I should probably just wait and see if ever they will going to release a separate set and just sell the Yamato Packs that I have loose. Or if there's no separate release down the road, then I will just repaint those white arm pack missiles and the reactive missiles. The only thing I fear is that Arcadia might release the other VF-1's with Packs (looking back at my Hikaru's VF-1's).

We'll never know. But that doesn't stop us from hoping. And if that happens, Bandai just gave Spanner a whole lot of headache.

I wish Bandai will make a DX versions of those Sheryl and Ranka Itasha's VF-25's and YF-29's. And Minmay's VF-1S Itasha too.

Hahaha! But the question is, if ever they decide to make one VF-1's, which VF-1 (and I mean 'only one' since you said 'only one!') you would like to be made? It can't be Hikaru only or Roy only or Max or Millia only (even Kakizaki ) or the Cannon Fodders by their own, right?
