I'm pretty sure there's still more of that 'simple stands' leftovers after that initial 10 orders from Arcadia in time for Hikaru's VF-1S Strike/Super Valkyrie release.
-
I know about the VF-1J 30th 'simple stand'. I just assumed they have something 'new' since this release has the Strike/Super Packs. And they didn't even mentioned on their tweet that it's the same one as the VF-1J's stand.
-
Ofcourse, that's not it. I'm just poking fun at Arcadia, sir. It's curious for them to tweet something in which they don't have photo to show what that 'simple stand' is.
-
Welcome to Buykure!
-
Yup. I posted something yesterday. Arcadia tweeted they already sold out limited 'simple stands' on their web online store for the first 10 VF-1S orders. They did say 'simple', right?

My advice sir -- Stay away from this thread. -
^ This guy here knows what he's talking about. And I support the last part he said 100%.
-
True. And knowing that Bandai doesn't have a cut from those secondary market high pricing.
-
Congrats! Yeah, as Saburo said, that price is not that bad compared to Y30000+ just for the Armored Parts.

@Saburo -
Loving it!

Not just pretty. It's awesome. If you meant it as a sure thing, then yes it is. It's really hard to say if it is or not for that price point. First of all, there's nothing or same thing to compare to, not like Macross Valks it has a lot of variations to compare to once in awhile. But if the old Takatoku 1/40 Orguss figure is priced atleast $200-250 on secondary market nowadays, then I rather get this one for $300. Which is the same amount I paid shipped from AmiAmi. And to be honest, the only complain that I really have about this release is just the price. But everything else? After playing with the figure for months. It's all perfect for me. (Not to mention those slightly loose joints that I have right OOTB.) And if ever this one end one in discount bins for $200? I'll go out and buy another one and keep it MISB. Ditto.

Looking at that price, I was glad I did scored my Alto's Armored Pack when it was still in the below $200 range. Bandai really should reissue their Armored and Super Parts for the VF-25's.
-
Nice setup. Love the valks at the bottom including the VF-2SS. Is that a Medicom Eva figure?

Did you bought the $250+ ones? More or less it's $300+/- with fees and shipping?

Nice! -
Thank you and you're welcome, sir! Glad to be of help. And yeah, like wmkjr said, afaik we don't pay import tax from Japan if you live in the US. And also like seti88 said it also helps when it's labeled as 'gifts' on the package label for Customs.
-
True. But he's aiming for the Armored Parts to cover the blemishes on the SMS logo on the wings.
-
I'm not sure if this was posted days ago but it looks like Arcadia offered limited display stands for the first 10 orders on their direct online store based on their Twitter feed.
-
Basically, yes. Don't worry I also paid premium price for my Alto's Armored Pack 2.5 years ago. But back then it was just a price of one DX Valk. Not two.
