  1. I think he has the Batgirl Sideshow Premium Format Statue. Based on Artgerm's drawing. Lovely.
  2. Care to share some pics or insights about this. I'm interested to see what kind of modding we can do on the main turrets. Thanks!
  3. The YF-30 did hold together solidly, Scyla. That's what the 'hidden brackets' are for. j/k
  4. Great weathering. Can't wait for the VF-19 Advance.
  5. Super Armed Packhttp://www.macross2.net/m3/macross2/vf-2ss-sap.htm
  6. That's why I'm going to buy one to support them. And who knows later on, they decide to release the SAP unit on its own. That would be something.
  7. Actually, I accidentally found some of the images last night via Google. And I studied how the VF-2SS transforms. Somehow, ET didn't copy the hinge-folding-swinging-metal-joint from the line art (Top Right image in the Fighter to Battroid shcematics and in the middle image in the Fighter to Gerwalk schematics). As far as I can tell based on this lineart, the pelvic joint supposed to have hinge mechanism that hides under the intake found under the chest. The chest slides forward in order for the hinge joint to fold for Gerwalk mode and slide back in. By doing that, the thigh intake shouldn't be under the chest like the ET toy have it but for potruding like in the line art. In Fighter mode, the shoulder should be more pushed back in towards the back area of the body. I can't tell why ET's version have more back bulkier underneath and why wing glove area is thicker. It's better if they design the shoulder joint with more on the push-in/pull-out design so that it will sit flush under the back area. I'm guessing that's the best thing that they can do to imitate the transformation. And for sure doing the lineart will be more complicated as is. The other mecha I could think of having the same underneath arm and leg placement configuration is the Z Gundam in Wave Rider form and comparing it to the Master Grade transformation. But not sure though if that can be applicable on the VF-2SS since the MG Z Gundam transformation has folding pelvic area instead of swinging bar. I'm stll curious though to have this in-hand so I can see it more. I wish they will also release new photos of the transformation or post videos like Bandai did on their previous DX releases.
  8. Cool. Now I can save a little on shipping cost combine with the VF-0S and VF-2SS.
  9. No worries there, B. Besides they got the VF-19 Advance right the first time. So they will do it right with the Delta Valks. Since the blue valk in the poster somehow have a 19 resemblance.
  10. No worries here. I'm still keeping my preorder for this Valk despite of all the negative remarks and the photos shown online and by doing so I now feel that it's a gamble somehow. But in the end, I still think positive about it.
  11. Delta is not out until 2016. So we still have time to save. Also the Valks that they will release along with the show is just V1. Let's wait for the Renewal by 2017. Lol. J/K.
  12. Nice to see their height differences in 1/60th scale form. VF-1J = 12.68m RX-78-2 = 18m RX-0 = 19.7m (Unicorn Mode) / 21.7m (Destroy Mode) So their BarAttack toy and other old 70's/80's Mecha toys from this line that they make is not good as well? Thought they're well-known for this mecha line? Hmmm.
  13. No one knows the exact date when it will be up but it's towards the end of this month as already been mentioned from the previous pages.
  14. Hahaha! I just said that with a little bit of sarcasm on the side. Lol.
  15. Hey Graham. Actually, the Gunpod is mounted on the Evolution's VF-2SS. My post from previous page in which I circled where the Gunpod is. Hope that helps. Here's another one with a different angle: I have a feeling that this will look PERFECT besides the VF-4G.
  16. And it's piloted by Hikaru Ichijo on the Flashback 2012. And piloted by 'You' on the VF-X Digital Mission PS game.
  17. Are we?! I thought we're speculating? Hahaha!
  18. Hahaha! How I wish too.
  19. You're welcome. By the way, there's NO llegal issues except for that VF-4G Flashback 2012 version. As for the accuracy, let's just say that Bandai Valks is more recent meaning it's already been designed via CAD or any 3D related software which is not existed back in the 80's / early 90's. So what Yamato/Arcadia did is design based off from the official sketches and work from there transformation-wise. Do note that VF-1's thigh swing bar is not existing on the anime nor designs so they have to make it somehow workable to be a perfect transforming Valks in toy form which is faithful also on their respective linearts. That's why Bandai is more anime accurate since it uses today's 3D design/technology on producing toys. Hope that helps.
  20. Found this one over the old VF-4G thread. This one uses the magic of magnets.
  21. Below par?! No no no. My personal opinion on this one is that Arcadia looks more like a collectible than Bandai's. Even though Arcadia lacks on the tampo print section and somehow get lost on choosing the right color. Whereas Bandai is more toy looking for me that you can transform everyday but it's dead spot on when it comes with tampos and details. Arcadia is more on simple when it comes with transformation whereas Bandai is more on the over complicated transformation. Arcadia is matte finish and Bandai is more glossy finish though they're starting to do more satin finish with their recent releases. I do have valks produced by both company and I love them all.
  22. Congrats! Actually, after shipping costs, HLJ is a little bit expensive than the other shops like $10-15 more. Which is not bad, IMO, but they do have the best customer service. So let's just think that we're just paying the premium so that at the end of transaction, we can get the VIP privileges.
  23. Since it's Roy's valk, there's a chance that it may get sold out than the VF-0A on some online shops. But don't fret, this is a Arcadia release, not Bandai's, which means you can still get one after the release date. But do take note that some people cancelled their VF-0A preorder when Arcadia announced the VF-0S. That's why some online shops still has the VF-0A. So I advise that you preorder the VF-0S now, and start saving.
