  1. Bash mindlessly on anything and everything Robotech? Oh, wait. That already happens.
  2. What brought this on, Whiskey? Or is it just more random ranting?
  3. They're too busy working on the Alpha and Beta toys, not to mention the Cyclones. I, for one, am more than happy that Toynami is getting out of the incredibly over-saturated VF-1 market. Time for some new toys, I say.
  4. Enough with the bashing. There's nothing really constructive in this thread. And yes, I didn't like RT 3000 either.

    1:60 GBP-1 !?

I see a hinge on the GBP that I don't see on the 1/60s. It's right below the hip armour, on the thigh facing towards the user. Any ideas what that could be for?
  6. Rick's VF-1S Super Armour, as stated on RT.com. So technically, yes, the Rick armour has been released. They're just Skull 1 parts
  7. According to RT.com, the YF-1R will be compatable with the Rick FAST Packs. Welcome to real life, EVERYONE does that. It's not just limited to RT.com, I assure you.
  8. Yeah, they did. I like it. It shows original thinking and actually using the footage they have instead of writing it off as a mistake. Of course, I'm waiting for them to make use of the Cat's Eye Veritech seen for 6/100ths of a second in Force of Arms
  9. I like the head also. If the Macross purists here have an issue, (which they won't because they usually don't come in to this thread), then that's a shame. I don't care if a toy is Robotech or Macross as long as it's a good toy. If it is, great. If it isn't, I'll flame it to death. Amen to that.
  10. Watch out, Skunk. There are some on these boards that take those as fighting words
  11. Pretty cool, as mecha go. And I have yet to see ANY toy that comes close to beating the MPC in represeting Guardian mode. That YF pic just clinched it for me.
  12. Beautiful work. Nothing more need be said.
  13. Actually, I don't mind the YF-1R all that much. It's cool, in a freakish mecha-fashion.
  14. We must have pics of that Lacota, David
  15. Pretty pictures. Now, if only I could understand the text...
  16. New dialect, perhaps? Communicating in the Zentradi language is a good way for spies to operate. Not many people know it or have the desire to learn it.
  17. There are more people scared of spiders than there are people scared of ants. Filmmakers try to use this extremely common phobia to add tension to their films, with varying degrees of success.
  18. A Robotech idea is presented and discussed on MW and it get's bashed outright? Gee, what a surprise. It's reactions like this that make me loath to reccomend MW to other people and even to drop by.
  19. Exactly. I don't have to be happy about it, now do I?
  20. Perhaps not, but we have raised over-bitching about movies that have yet to even be made to a new level of art.
  21. Personally, I'm rather dissapointed with both the TV ending and the EoE ending. Both left much to be desired in the way of closure for the series.
  22. ok, the destroids seen in Zero are going to be the Prototypes for the ones later on down the road ( SW1) so to put in in English, Zero takes place in '08 and SW1 takes place in 2010, so therefore the new destroids are actually the "old" destroids. Not quite. I know I said I'd never do this, but look at the Compendium, and I quote for the Tomahawk: As you say, this is 2008. That means that this Destroid was in use by 2007, a full year before 2008. To me, this finally nails the coffin on any hope of continuity for Macross. Macross Zero has new designs for everything, regardless.
  23. What's the reasoning behind the new Destroids? Weren't the old ones good enough?
