  1. Can't wait to get my copy! That AEW would definitely be cool to have a kit of. I really like that variant.
  2. Very cool!! I would have liked to see Hasegawa make it instead, but seeing a 1/72 VF-4 injection kit finally being made is incredible. I'll be in for at least two of them. As for the article with the Y6800 price, it looks to me like it's for the the old Musasiya resin kit. Its original price was also 6800 http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/models/musasiya/musasiya_main.htm
  3. Looking good! Please share the .STL files when you're done. I'm going to want to print one of my own!
  4. No, Studio Half-Eye never made any VF-1 kits. Do you have pics of that kit? I'm not familiar with any resin transformable VF-1s that are specifically Max types. But your description reminds me of Yellow Submarine's 1/100 VF-1 parts-former
  5. Yes, the Speaker Podcast crew were nice enough to have me on the podcast when I was visiting Japan for Wonderfest last year. They're a great bunch of guys!
  6. Yep, it's the General Products resin kit (not vinyl). It took me something like 10 years to find it. And yes, the Kotobukiya excelion is really good! Too small for any crazy mods, tho.
  7. Vacation time is approved, and flights have been booked! I'll be there!
  8. Thanks for posting the partial translation! That's one story I've been wanting to be able to read for years. And I can totally see why it's taken so long. That must be tedious as hell to translate! So thanks again!
  9. Wow, I wasn't expecting to see another re-release of them. Too bad the other three kits in the series aren't getting re-released also They're resin kits, with some cast metal parts. And the Supersylph also has some brass photo-etched parts. They're great kits, but not for beginners.
  10. Now I'm really curious to see some more photos, especially of the parts breakdown.
  11. Very, very cool! This is a kit I've been wanting to see for quite a long time. I just ordered two of em. Weird that they made it a limited edition, though. This is one kit I want to see available for years!
  12. Oh, that was the guy! I got a couple of their kits at WF last summer. I got their Argenix (the ship from Macross M3) and the TV version SDF-2. Neat kits, but I wish the casting quality was a bit better.
  13. Very cool! If you need anything printed on a Makerbot (even if it's just test prints), send me a PM
  14. I gave up on waiting for HLJ and ordered a couple from Amazon. Not gonna take the chance of missing this one! And $14 for shipping on two copies isn't bad, anyway.
  15. Sweet! I'm hoping HLJ will be carrying it tho, so I can save on shipping.
  16. Oh, I don't doubt it, I just don't remember it. But when you've bought and sold as many models as I have, these things happen
  17. Yea, I'm afraid another 1/72 would be a tough sell. The Moscato version has been around for years, and it's still in production. But one scaled to the Yamato 1/60 toys would be pretty badass!
  18. From me? I don't even remember owning those! And that's certainly better than I could ever do with a brush!
  19. Looks nice. It's for the Hasegawa 1/72 kits also?
  20. Got mine today. I was pretty impressed with it! But the Hikaru A/S paint job with a VF-1J head was bugging me. So I did something about it But it wasn't until after I finished that I noticed that it has VF-1S head lasers... so now it's bugging me again
  21. I've been trying to get off my lazy ass and start building again the last few days. And coincidentally, it's the same kit as Jefuemon's! I'd started this one a few years ago, but didn't get very far with it. So far, I've just been doing assembly on the main sections, leaving the smaller bits in the box for now. It's already taking some work getting gaps filled (with epoxy putty and surfacer) and adjusting the fit on a few parts. I'm hoping I haven't bitten off more than I can chew with this one, seeing as I haven't finished a kit in years now. I'd hate to end up ruining such an expensive kit. But I feel better knowing that it'll be damn near worthless once the Hasegawa version is out next year
