  1. OMG! This is great news! SV-51? Yes for Macross Zero V.2's! EDIT: Here's hoping Yamato/Arcadia are the companies to bring us a valk of every number (2, 3000, 5000, 9, 14).
  2. Awesome! Thanks! (It's great to see a valk which isn't sold out. XD) May it be the first of many new Arcadia valks.
  3. Where's the neck in Battroid mode? Looks like a derped attempt at the VF-1, but the detailing is nice.
  4. I don’t think a single VF-1J qualifies as being back in the game, until there’s news of the VF-4, VF-22, VF-19, VF-0, SV-51, VF-11, etc making a return, or a VF-3000, VF-5000 being announced. For all we know the VF-1J can be Arcadia’s only Valkyrie. My only regret is not panic buying a VF-11C. :/
  5. If everyone can afford multiples of the VF-171 for 1000$, then they can easily afford a single VF-19, 17, 1. I’m getting at least 1 or 2 to support Arcadia, in hopes of there being more new valks in the future.
  6. It’s great that it’s possible to get one of these valks after they've been released. Did Bandai finally learn, and produced more figures? I think I’ll have to start collecting from them again. :]
  7. Wow, really? Is it always Nippon Yasan? I don't think I'll order from them anymore, if they can't ship an order properly. :/
  8. I'm in Germany too, and NY did not include a declared value on the pacakge, which is why I have to go to customs and pick it up in person.
  9. Thanks for the info! That's exactly what's happening to me right now, it seems.
  10. Slightly off-topic, but has anyone ever been given the wrong package tracking number from Nippon Yasan? Or, has NY ever shipped a package to the wrong address?
  11. Don't care about the design, but if this means Arcadia is indeed making more Macross, I'll buy it just to support them. Fingers crossed that Arcadia is making more Macross though...
  12. Yamato. Or ThreeA (imagine the destroids all weathered up with electronics like the 1/48 Metal Gear, but in 1/60 or 1/72 scale).
  13. I see the release of the VF-4 as not only the holy grail of all Macross items, but also as a final thank you gesture to all Macross Fans from a company of Macross Fans. What other company has made or would have made a 1/60 perfect transformable VF-4 (especially if rumors are true and bankruptcy would happen weeks after its release)? I have said it before, and will say it again: If Bandai takes over the other Macross licenses, I’ll stop collecting. I’m not putting up with their pre-order games.
  14. To answer the topic question: Yes. Immediately. Give all the Macross licenses Bandai currently holds over to a more competent company. Arcadia could really use it. OR: Bandai can stop working for the eBay scalpers and make more than just a dozen valks per release. They could be swimming in a vast ocean of cash if they just made more. A LOT MORE.
  15. :[ They did a massive service to Macross fans, and to see Yamato go is quite painful. I doubt we’ll ever see another company make as many Valks and Macross rarities again. If Yamato/Arcadia’s last Macross production was the VF-4, then they sure went out with a bang.
  16. If Bandai takes over the Macross supply for valk toys - I'm out, and my Macross collection will be complete. Not putting up with their preorder games.
  17. The problem lies with Bandai supplying online shops with little to no stock. All online shops sell out within seconds, it's not just HLJ.
  18. The scalpers are having a field day on ebay. I found nothing under 300$: http://www.ebay.com/...=item4ac0458193 http://www.ebay.com/...=item2c6b2c0dcf http://www.ebay.com/...=item2326a5fcfc It doesn’t take a genius to see that Bandai has dropped, and continues to drop the ball on these valks. If they produced much, much more of them, they’d be raking in the dough like crazy. Missing the opportunity, one Frontier valk at a time. I would have picked up two of these valks… Don't blame HLJ - blame the ridiculously low supply.
  19. Mine arrived this morning from HLJ. Everything is perfect except for the display/stand adapter piece for Battroid mode – that thing is impossible to attach to the VF-4. @_@ I gave up after 15 minutes of trying to lock it in place in fear that something might break. Other than that, this thing is yet another Masterpiece! The holy-grail of valks has finally landed.
  20. Paid a week ago for my squad, but HLJ has yet to ship any. Starting to think they don’t have any more in stock… :/ Besides NY are there any more shops out there which are carrying this bird?
  21. While the frontier mecha are some of my favorites, what bugs me about them is that they all pretty much have the exact same transformation style. The only difference is the outer appearance of the mecha. With the Macross Plus era we had the VF-11, VF-17, YF-19, YF-21, and each one was pretty unique from the other in transformation and design, which made things more interesting. They also hid their wings pretty cleverly, which allowed for a flat back. All the Frontier mecha we’ve seen so far, besides the 171, basically have their wings sticking out behind them.
  22. It's only 18:03 in Peru. Still got 6 hours for the end to arrive... Any minute now... WORLD. ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) Y U NO END?
  23. Bravo! Yamato’s handling of their products sealed the deal for me. I haven’t given Bandai a single penny since January 2011 with the VF-25S, and have since taken all my business to Yamato due to the way they handled the Frontier mecha, and pre-orders. Mad props for Yamato for keeping their pre-orders open, and extending the dates for a web-exclusive item! You can still even get them off HLJ (up until a few days ago) and NY, and the prices have been cut by 50$ or so since it was first announced.
  24. I just stumbled upon this on BBTS: http://www.bigbadtoy...803&mode=retail Take a look at the two preview images: http://www.bigbadtoy...ge/PLM10803.jpg and: http://www.bigbadtoy...ge/PLM10803.jpg There are quite a few differences between the two. Not only is the structure of the ship different, the marking is also more prominent in the one at the bottom. Here’s a pic showing the 2009 movie design (above) and this alternate design (below): Could they have accidentally leaked the new Enterprise design? Or am I just seeing things? XD The ship in the trailer is much closer to the one in the bottom pic: Look at the scene where the ship exists the water. The Nacelle has that dent in the back, as shown in the toy (but it's not there in the 2009 design).
