you can add that this are by now very resin kits... and you're right, there's been a flood of VF-25's or the model section is just dead...nice to see it brought back to live
-
very nice...any plans for more valk building?

you're doing 3 models at the same time...no wonder you're going slower than you use to...

Basquash: SK's new serie for 2009
Valkyrie addict replied to ntsan's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
no dude.... they get an afro addon and can skyhook from the other end of the court... -
WOW...that's..........................................sad I particularly like these sentences - "he 33-year-old told CTV.ca in a phone interview from his parents' home in Brampton, Ont. " probably from his basement - "While Trung, who has worked as a software programmer in recent years, has been unemployed for the past three months, he has worked steadily on Project Aiko -- an effort that has brought him closer than ever to reaching his dream." can you say Stepford wive!! haha - "but it looks creepy when you touch it and it doesn't look as real," no, YOU'RE creepy - "Aiko can also distinguish between types of touch to her body and can even make toast. " creepier - "But within a few short hours, the searching algorithm inadvertently brought her to some adult websites that allowed Aiko to pick up some "new words" that Trung had not intended for her to learn." yeah right...the dude creates a robot but couldn't filter the websearchs for adult content HAHAHA, ok, in all seriousness... cool stuff, about time robots stopped looking like tables

Ride Armors, Legioss and Treads! Oh my!
Valkyrie addict replied to EXO's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
thanks for the answers about the Beagle being delayed for a few months as long as they get it right I will most likely get this since it's the only Mospeada toy I really want... was never really fond of the legioss/tread design, too bulky for my taste -
VF-22S Conversion Parts for 1/60 Yamato YF-21
Valkyrie addict replied to PsYcHoDyNaMiX's topic in The Workshop!
no problem, maybe it's for the best, a lot of people are close to broke thanks to all the releases and economic situation so maybe putting this up until people wallets are fatter could be better, hehe happy holidays man! -
Ride Armors, Legioss and Treads! Oh my!
Valkyrie addict replied to EXO's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
well...I've just seen some pics of the Beagle, any complete reviews on this? I'm really liking it more than the small CM and skinny Megahouse, 1/10 that's slighty bigger than a Yamato 1/48 right? man...if the reviews are good on this thing I'll gladly shed the 200 bucks for this...always wanted a mospeada cyclone -
ok, maybe greedy wasn't the right word...there are different perspectives to everything I'll post mine... Limited 1/48...why limited and so expensive...the molds are like 5 years old, no research or engineering had to be done for this, and there isn't much marketing, a few pictures on some hobby mags and coupons on Yamato's own magazine...really?.... 500 dollars for a 5 year old toy that got dirt added?? seems excessive to me YF-19 and GNU-Doi, they were intended to be used with fast packs, they had the attachment on them since their release, why make the first release without them and not mention anything about add-on until released 5 months later... 60 dollars for the fold booster set fot the YF-19 and 25 dollars for the GNU fast packs... they knwo most fans will get something once released, why sell it incomplete...I know it's marketing, but they're pushing it with this, seems unfair what about the YF-21, it has the ability to add a fold booster, it's even on the manual, but they don't sell a fold booster separately, you'd had to buy a YF-19 fold booster set, or a bundled YF-19...why? please explain this too me, I understand it's marketing, but Yamato's get sold pretty well, this kind of things are unnecessary

Yamato GN-U Non-transforming Macross Action Figures
Valkyrie addict replied to Graham's topic in Toys
why are the YF-21 gunpods blue? -
Ok, venting, having a bad day... anyway, I'll keep this simple, to direct all the Yamato hate to one place so other threads don't stray off topic Considering Yamato as a company with more than a decade of experience with Macross; Revoltech and Bandai joining the Macross toy business with dedicated quality toys and Yamato's history of questionable releases with beautiful but completely flawed products with increasing costs for them do you think they are too greedy with their prices? simple poll...you can post why or why not EDIT: crap, added the poll

Live Action Movies with Giant Robot/Mecha Thread
Valkyrie addict replied to fifbeat's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
hahaha holly crap, japanese mecha live action is so bad and cheesy you have to watch it to the end just for the hell of it...anyone remember some old ass movie that's like a terminator/robocop rip off about a a guy who is transformed into a robot, except he's human but from the waist down he's like a tank and his arm was like a rocket launcher or something I think it was called the eliminator or something, hahaha -
good idea, looks very promising dude, keep it up!!
-
how the hell can you guys work with such tiny stuff, what kind of tiny instruments and magnifying glasses you use?? by the way, looks great man!
-
hey, welcome for the boards Valk009 (who made the kit) sold the resin kit for around 190USD, he made a limited run of it, but maybe if you post on the wanted section maybe someone might have a spare one they may want to sell, or try to PM Valk009 if he still has any left over, but I doubt it since he sold his last used kit a while ago for a very cheap price... and I gotta say again, beautiful armored vf-11
-
so the special limited edition weathered valk will be sold one more time... not so 'special limited' anymore for the people who payed 500+ for this REPAINT the credit card black valk and low vis v1 never got rereleased...

King Animation Bootleg Macross Frontier DVDs
Valkyrie addict replied to Kamui 777's topic in Movies and TV Series
that's is true, over here on every street light there are tons of people selling bootleg DVD's of movies and everyone buys them, until the news took out a report about the movie piracy over here being funded by drug money from Colombia and the profits of it probably go for more drug enterprises or bogus ghost businesses to answer your question, if you preffer buying and watching DVD's instead of downloading them, that's you're thing, it's actually saner than staring at a computer all day, but you run the risk of bad quality image or improper subs that will make certain aspects of the show a bit confusing, and Macross Frontier sometimes gets very confusing best advice I could give you is get a nerdy friend (we all have one) that could do you the favor or perhaps pay him to download gg subbed episodes and burn them to a couple of dvd's for you, good luck! -
urrr...I've heard the VF-0A Shin and VF-0S with Ghost bundle was free of the floppyness and regular QC... only thing that could never be confirmed was if the exploding shoulder problem was solved or not
