uhhh nice, I was just about to place and order for the VF-25 alto and ozma, but I guess I'll wait for the bundle pack... I wonder if some weight might be needed to be added to the legs? the back pack could make it go back heavy and could fall, considering there's a stand holding the model in place from the back?? hmmmmmmm.....nahhh

well...almost done, got impatient again and had to see it all assembled...I'll be traveling to Mexico for a week so I'll probably finish this after that
-
after my disappointing shoulder breakage I completely stop all my toy purchases, it was a sad christmas for me, hehehe, kidding, but I will probably wait several more months to see if the shoulder issue has been solved or if Yamato contacts Graham again about this, so I'm with Shin on this, the 1S Roy was perfect for several month until they all started to self destruct, so I will play the waiting game on this

what he said, it sounds complicated but it's very very simple and the pieces just come off, not prying anything open or with force and when all is put back in place it looks like new only worry is not to loose the screws, ehehe

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.3
Valkyrie addict replied to Graham's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
woa...I'm not starting any sh!t, I just commented on your good idea, but to have to go to all this lengths on playable toy, and even you will not try this again goes to show that it's possible but they [bandai] just didn't do it right... geez SORRY... anyway, good idea and nice work -
Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.3

good idea but too bad it didn't work as you intended, shows how lazy bandai got on this -
that is so great...I thought you were going to add a DYRL pilot, but either way, the SDFM pilot makes it even more unique...can't wait to see it finished

dude's waiting for his gunpod and panel lining, hahaha

YF-19 and VF-19 gunpods are almost similar except for a bump in the upper middle as far as I've seen, but I guess it's a proper assumption big F, thanks nope, too bad I don't have a Hasegawa YF-19, would have made my life a lot easier, hehehehe; and Nexx Stalker, nice VF-19Kai and VF-25, sweet job, did you paint the vinyl red on the kai or just the other pieces that needed painting? post more pics man!! I wanna see!! well...slow progress with the gunpod, I still need to properly shape the rearend and those little thingies on the tip and sand everything smooth...ugg, I hate sanding never noticed before, but the gunpod looks like a fish!

Macross Frontier Series Discussion Thread *READ 1st Post*
Valkyrie addict replied to azrael's topic in Movies and TV Series
hey there, nice catch there, I checked it out, and Battle Frontier has some sort of energy field that actually slashes Battle Galaxy instead of punching it.... nice and also when Alto and Brera are charging together at the queen, it's barely noticeable but Brera totally owns a second CF VF-27 -
I must have miss those sales on ebay and the wanted section too, a shame I would bought them...so I'm force to butcher the kai, ehhehe anywho...doing from scratch the gunpod, I was originally planning to mod the Kai gunpod but it's shaped totally different and it would be too much work with that vinyl I checked some lineart and started scratchbuilding with some left over resin sprues and putty, but when I checked again and it turns out that the lineart, the Yamato YF-19, a Bandai VF-19 and the picture of the wave VF-19 gunpods, all four show some very noticeable differences and I don't know which one exactly to do, well...here's how it's coming so far, but still a lot to do and improve

NICEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! judging by your awesome VF-4 custom scheme, this will be great... any personal custom tiny pilot planned for it?? sorry if this is a dumb question (drunk), what exactly did you do with the clear wrapper and canopy?
-
hahhaha!! best thread ever! MOTORBOATING BABY!!! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
-
I think if you add the bubble on top like a window to look up would look so freakin cool!, oh man, you have to do this valk, would be all kind of awesome!! I'm so piss drunk now posting from my mobile, HAPPY NEW YEARS!! maybe you can do a E-2C Hawkeye scheme...classic all the way
-
woaaa...back from the dead, hehehe nope, it's not a perfect transformation, it's a partsformer, to transform you need to take out some parts and then reattach them kinda like the old yamato VF-1 v1.0 this would make nice kits to learn with, the plastic is pretty soft, but they still suffer from the Bandai curse of too much movable pieces that make it a seam line nightmare to sand; they're snap kits with foil stickers, you can build them with no painting and will look decent
-
heyyyyy...great idea... this will look killer when it's done hmm...here's a crazy idea I got for the second seat...don't know if you like, since you already cut plenty of plastic, but hey, you can put it back together please excuse my lame photoshoping abilities
-
you can see alto carefully moving his fingers pushing buttons on the stick when he's saving ranka on episode 2, there seems to be a button for every finger
-
really??? off they go then, I have plenty of that 2 part plumber putty lying around...few, thanks for the tip, much appreciated
-
ok...remembered I had to add some weight to the legs... so, empty legs cheapo brand clay filled legs, it really added weight to it test fitting legs got impatient and had to see how the bad boy was looking, thought this lighting looks kinda nice hmm...I'm having some trouble with the knee, I don't know if it was design like that, but it doesn't seem to be able to flex, it extend slightly forward and that's it... if anyone who's built one of this wave kit can clear this up for me thanks for looking

Step-by-Step VF-1 Strike Valkyrie
Valkyrie addict replied to DrunkenMaster2's topic in The Workshop!
bump from the dead, hey DrunkenMaster2, did you ever finish this? -
slow update... almost done... some clear coating left, panel lining, I'm debating myself what color to panel line, I don't think the usual panel line will be noticeable so maybe I'll go with black or perhaps.... white?

1/5000 Megaroad-01 Yamato has nothing to worry about, just fix the QC problems they've had for over 10 years
