How many micromissiles in advanced VF
Valkyrie addict replied to Uxi's topic in Movies and TV Series
I'd like to think that in an universe of song energy this VF's are so technologically advanced that the micromissiles are fold directly to the VF from the armory -

**if you're tired of my whining, please ignore, if you have nothing better to do and wish to feed this troll, read on** I'm sorry if my opinion offends anyone, but my point of view is this, a company that has for over a decade released among others, Macross toys riddles with defects, has not put many efforts in avoiding this and worst of all, overprices their Macross products, has released the same toy 3 times with defects, should not be trusted for a 4 digit purchase Let's say I order a coffee mug with my named on it, and when it arrives it's misspelled and then I'm told the coffee mug came that way cause my name is too complicated why would I want to buy a coffee mug from them again, or let's say, I did, and then end up with a mug with my name spelled properly, but the mug has a hole in it and I can't pour my drinks in it, and now I'm told, they put more efforts in getting my name right so a compromise had to be done, why would I buy from them again, but let's say, thirds time the charm, and I buy a mug again from them, name spelled right, no holes, but when I grab it, the handles breaks and I end up with hot coffee all over my bitchin' Gundam shirt , and then I'm told, "you mishandled the mug so it broke on you", it wasn't supposed to break, but sh*t happens then they decide to sell me a cappuccino machine that costs plenty, why would I want to pay a company for a cappuccino machine when they can't even get a damn mug right, wouldn't that just be stupid, wouldn't I be a chump for continuing on their charade I'm sorry, this is my point of view, some people may think a discarded unapproved prototype SDF-1 is a holly grail for any macross collector and worth 2000+, but it's not an art piece,I don't know the name of the guy who did the prototype, for all I know, they could have payed some college student in art to model the thing, I can't do anything with it cause it's a big block of unpainted resin that will deform if exposed to much sunlight and adding insult to injury, there's the uncertainty that something might break because, sh*t happens I'm glad some other people can have disposable income to waste on a 2000+ toy, but I feel I'm better off by putting my well earned money to better use and safely drinking coffee instead of putting a block of big resin in the darkest corner of my closet with some other broken toys lying around now, I appreciate the intention of asking the community on how to make a their toys better, but maybe Yamato should use the SEARCH function on here and other macross forum and realize that we want toys that don't breaks, a VF-4, VF-5000, VF-17 and Reactive armor for the VF-0, this are universally asked for everywhere, but we all KNOW, that they only want more way to milk the VF-1 period. **end trolling** on topic, I DON'T WAN'T A DETAIL UP V2 VF-1 I want a completely new Valkyrie with no defects, you did it once with the YF-21, why not do it again anyone willing to post pics of the change metal pin on the vf-1 shoulder? thanks

HAHAHAHA!!! I wish, haha, well, as far as I remember, there was no "official" announcement of fixed shoulder issue, Graham only said that Yamato will look into it and be more thorough during QC and that after the VF-1D all shoulders should be fixed, but we all know that we're just being extra careful with out toys, if someone could please point me out to a post from Graham or Yamato official release explaining why the shoulder cracked and what they did to prevent it from happening, I'll be grateful well, I didn't know that, how many model/prototype did they made?? well, just goes to show you, the world is full of chumps

niceeeeeeeeeeeeee where's the YF-19 and VF-0?
-
see HERE if you think about it, it's been 2 years, and the only new valkyrie that Yamato has released is the VF-11B, the rest is just repaint, 1/48 VF-1 and 1/60 YF-19 25th anniversary edition, repaint destroids, 1/48 weathered exclusives, 1/60 VF-1 milked to death already, those white YF-19 and Gamlin, Max and Millia VF-22, and the VF-11 is already beginning to get milked IN TWO YEARS YAMATO HAS ONLY MADE 1 COMPLETELY NEW VALKYRIE.... what have they spend all this time doing?, a lot of money, ignoring and NOT fixing the v2 VF-1 shoulder issue, making an unnecessarily big SDF-1 MODEL that absolutely noone in their right mind will ever buy

OMFG!! YAMATOWNED!!!!!!   you should send that back man

I WANT BOOOOBSS!!!!!!! -
I have to hand it to Yamato, they sure know how to sell their stuff Yamato execs 2007, EXEC1 - I believe we have run out of ways to milk the 1/48 vf-1 mold, any suggestions? EXEC2 - How about we make a 1/60 vf-1 version EXEC1 - What for? we already got the 1/48 with everything EXEX2 - C'mon, you know how this otaku are, they need to have everything EXEC1 - So, we just rerelease something they already have, but smaller? EXEC2 - yeah, and we can repaint them again in all the schemes and they will buy it EXEC1 - Nahhhhhhhhhh...people aren't that dumb, aren't they sick of the vf-1, there are so many other valks that can be milk good too EXEC2 - yeah, but we have to make CAD designs, engineer molds, etc, we can just work the existing vf-1 molds, it will be cheaper than making new ones EXEC1 - Hmmm, you might be onto something, ok, lets do it Yamato execs 2008 EXEC1 - We're getting reports that the VF-1 v2 has shoulder breaking issues EXEC2 - Who gives a f*ck? EXEC1 - I don't know, some internet forum is getting bitchy about it EXEC2 - so? EXEC1 - shouldn't we do something about it EXEC2 - sigh...............fine, let's announce the VT-1 and VF-1D releases they've been begging for ages, that will take their minds of it EXEC1 - but what about the shoulder EXEC2 - What are you? new here, dumbass, they always find a way to fix it in those forums, let's just say some material/PVC/scale BS, and then rerelease them with their own fix applied and the suckers will buy the stupid toy again EXEC1 - oh yeah, right, that always work Yamato execs 2009 EXEC1 - We're running out of ways to mold the vf-1 again EXEC2 - let's say we fixed something, add a bump or two to make it "different" than the original with some addons that costs 25cents to produces and resell them apart or completely EXEC1 - WHO would want that? EXEC2 - they WILL...*evil laugh*
-
umm...how about improving material resistance so it doesn't break at least I know that when this get released, the original v2.0 will be durt cheap

It is my understand that Kobe beef steak is so expensive cause the cows selected for this kind of meat are specially breed and raise like royalty so the meat can be specially tender and tasty -
I think the real question is if the parts will come with the sprues like scale models that you have to cut from how about the pilot? will it come unpainted too?
