    ok, tried several things I open the case and left it in a more ventilated area with my room A/C at full which seemed to improved the amb temp but fan was still running around 5000RPM Left the pc on all night to see if the stock thermal paste keep setting in, when I tried in the morning, noisy as ever Removed heatsink, cleaned stock goo and set arctic silver 5, still noisy Updated BIOS and cool n' quiet drivers, went to BIOS option, lower the voltage to 4.0v and finally got some improvement, the fan is more responsive and stay around 4500RPM and the GPU and Core temp remain stable But I still feel it's high...*sigh* will wait a week of use for the arctic silver to set to see what happens

    I'm using the stock cooler I didn't install the CPU, the place where I bought most of the parts did, I presume they used the pre-fixed heat pad and no other thermal paste since I didn't tell them to do so, but they do seem a bit clumsy, when they were installing the system they called me to tell the vidcard was damaged and they couldn't get the image right, I couldn't believe that since it was brand new and was concerned maybe I got a bad batch, I told them to finish the system and I'll check the vidcard myself after I got everything I installed the vidcard with no problem whatsoever, so I'm concerned they have not done something right with the CPU installment too how can I adjust the fan if it's stuck on high? I may just get a better fan then

    Thanks again, decided to get me windows 7 premium 64bit after all I can't seem to stop asking question ok, I got the pc running, looks great on the tv via HDMI, runs everything at maximun smoothly except that the fan is extremely loud, I checked and found out it's the CPU heatsink Installed SpeedFan to check fan speed and temp and the fan is constantly running between 5200-6500rpms and most temp are below 48°C except for the CPU and GPU that have gone up to 55°C while gaming or intense multitasking... should I worry about this temps?? I know that when the system is new you must wait a while getting heat spikes while the CPU insulator to the heatsink sets, but since I didn't do it I don't know if they applied it right. I've also searched and found that most times Athlon processors have crappy heatsink fans and are replaced by better cooling fans I have cool n' quiet on and smartfan on at the bios setting the processors I'm using its an Athlon Phenom II x4 965 3.4Ghz Black, should I replace it with a better fan?? or any suggestion to improve the excessive noise from the fan? Thanks again and sorry for all this dumb questions

    Wow, I'm planning on using 6GB of DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, 16GB seems a bit of an overkill for me, hahaha thanks a lot, guess I'll stay with home basic, save me about 30bucks for a cheap dinner, hahaha

    Thanks all you guys for your help, I'm pretty much set, got the tv, refurnishing the area and waiting for parts to arrive from newegg.com just one more dumb question, I'll be hooking up the pc to the LED TV via HDMI from the vidcard, sooo....will the HDMI carry audio/video or just high quality video since it's coming from the vidcard only... hehehe

    I haven't seen the movie yet, so I haven't seen the tornado pack in action so no love for it yet but that thing is disgustingly ugly!!! looks like a purple turtle humping a goose Would've been better for them to copy the SAP cannon from Macross II VF-2S, now that thing was sleek

    you would think that over 2000 bucks would get you an SDF-1 that could fold you to the ladies room, but it was all in gray resin that had to be built as it seems, it will come in the same gray resin and land in a scale modeler hands ready to test fit/sand/putty/sand/paint/mask/paint/gloss coat/decal/dull/weather/take pictures...

    hmm....nice I was checking newegg.com for some prices and parts What do you guys think of the AMD Phenom II X4 Black 512kb L2 x 6MB cache, I know the difference is like 20 bucks, which is nothing, but is there a noticeable performance between the 3.2Ghz 955 and 3.4Ghz 965??? I'm mostly asking cause you may overclock this things to get a small boost and I could rather go for the 3.2Ghz that would seem more stable and what is today standards on vidcards for top of the line? I pretty much got stuck on the times when the GeForce 8800GTS was the sh!t running Crysis like half a decade ago :lol: :lol:

    nah....no DVR just gaming and stuff soo...600 is tight budget?? well, I guess I can go up to 800 something, I don't want extreme hardcore gaming, just enough to put up a good looking image at a proper frame rate on the TV resolution so I can enjoy it and end up with retina burnout from hours of gaming I don't need "extreme", I just need good up to date, my current pc is rather dated

    Thanks for the quick reply since I'm dishing major bucks on the TV and surround, I'm expecting to spend only 500-600 on the pc rig if possible, I only need the CPU to connect to the TV...

    Hey guys, I'm really off on recent technology advancements for pc I wanted to know if you guys could help what's new on new CPU Processors from Intel and AMD, and vidcards?? I want to built an entertainment center with 50" LED and want to hook up a PC in there too.... any suggestions for recommended PC hardware to enjoy recent games thanks guys

    Wasn't all this costs/magic-resin/yamato/exclusive/limited/etc all discussed and beaten to death on the 1/2000 SDF-1 thread? Yamato already established this as a limited run exclusive in Japan, people will buy it none the less we can only hope the feedback is good like the SDF-1 and see if they release a "cheaper" toy version, if they do, will it keep its 1/60 scale

    looks fat I have no love for the 19kai, so they can screw everything with this as long as they do a proper 19s and 17D/S Bandai has the upper hand on them, their 19kai and 19S look wicked
