OH BOO HOO, THEY CHANGED A FEW DETAILS, THE WORLD COMES TO AN END! Red October was the only book I actually thought was better than the movie. Even though I love Sean Connery, and thought the movie as a whole was good, cutting out the part about scuttling the US sub left a big plot hole that bugged me to no end. Every other book, the movie was better. Patriot games and Clear and present danger were both way more enjoyable as movies, mostly because of Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford's acting trumps Tom Clancy's writing easily.

Star Wars one of the most generic fantasy stories ever told. Lucas took every fantasy cliche and trope and threw them together under a sci-fi deco. If you had read ANY fantasy stories before watching star wars for the first time, you could see everything in it coming.

I never understood why everyone has this perception that the CFA-44 is somehow "band from multilayer because it broke the game." The CFA-44 was always allowed, and it was always restricted to using the railgun only. you never see anyone use the CFA-44 because the CFA sucks in multi, the rail gun is just about useless against real players and the high-G stall made it just about impossible to avoid incoming missile fire. Really it wouldn't have made a difference if the ADMM was allowed anyways, all anyone ever does is fly the F-22 and spam QAAM's for the entire match.

As much as I love the idea of Ridley Scott coming back to do more another alien movie, rather than a prequel I'd much rather see him make a sequel that fits in after second film and retcons the 3rd and 4th movies out of existence.

100mm f/2.8 macro I would love the 180mm, but I don't really NEED that much working distance, and I like the extra stop faster aperture. Also it's less than half the price. I still haven't decided for sure though, I might cave and buy the 70-200mm telephoto. instead.

I recently rediscovered how much I love playing Call of Duty 4. also I'm waiting on new Macross toys (megahouse Sheryl this month, VE-1 next month, M&M 1J's after that) and possibly a new macro lens around Christmas.
