I couldn't get on from about midnight to 2:00am. Then when I tried again this morning starting at about 7:00am, I couldn't even get to the main page (cannot find server error). gave up trying to get on about 11:30.

ok, the original cut of blade runner is a better story, but I enjoyed the book a lot. The book is more interesting to me and has more to say than the first cut of the movie. the latter cuts of the film try to add themes form the book back in but it fails miserably and I refuse to watch any version of blade runner other than the original theatrical cut. really, A Horse and his Boy is my least favorite of the books. I never found it that interesting and it just doesn't fit with the rest of the books to me. I love Narnia AND Heinlein if that's possible. Starship Troopers is one of my favorite serious science fiction novels. one movie I actually do like more than the original book is 2001: A Space Odyssey.

based on google translate, it sounds like yamato's web shop is having a some sort of sale on macross items. Not sure what the deal is with the helmet but the key chain laser pointer thing was something they were selling at the SDF launch event, they're clearing out excess stock of them by including them with orders.

I would love to know where they pulled that number from.

The stripe-less version was the pre-production prototype. They added the stripes to the final release version, all of them come like that. Everyone else noticed weeks ago, you guys are just slow... sorry

yes, I saw that when I watched the trailer on my Xbox yesterday night, I was like "WTF? Oh japan... I have a good feeling about this though, looks like an animated version of the Halo graphic novel, which is a good thing. Also love the rocket sled things and heavy mjolnir armor.

the 1/100 are a line of transforming toys, not part of the new robot vinyl line. For the Scale this is what I did: Just from looking at the pics, the Regult figure looks about as tall as the 1/100 scale figures in battroid mode, with stands and fast packs. I have a 1/100 1J myself so I measured how tall it was on the stand and with the fast packs it was in the 20cm range so I rounded it off to an even 20cm. (the 1/100 VF-1's are actually more like 1/90 scale. The basic Regult stands 15.12 meters (the extra 3 meters on the scout comes from the large sensor mast) so 15.12 meters= 1512cm, 1512cm/20cm = 75.6 so 1/75~76 scale.
