I'm just going to come right out and say it: shits ugly. Thing looks like a pancake from the top and the little gippy midget tails are stupid.
Also the YF-23 is ugly as sin too.
They should make it longer, maybe closer to 85 episodes or so. And they need to make more stuff transform; jets and space ships are fine, but how about motorcycles? or helicopters? And take out all the junk about protoculture being some sort of ancient alien civilization, how stupid is that.
also Minmay needs to be more of a slut.
The thigh swivel on both legs was very loose. A couple coats of nail polish was all it needed though.
oddly, I've never had a Yamato flat out break (excluding my old v.1s), but I've had loose bits like this on more than half my valks so far.
quick note on brake fluid for stripping paint:
DO NOT USE DOT-2 BRAKE FLUID. IT WILL MELT THE PLASTIC
DOT-3 is safe on just about everything as far as I can tell. DOT-4 is safe on ABS and polystyrene, but will soften/melt resin.
:edit: also I think most newer Bandai kits are made from ABS. ABS is less chemically sensitive than polystyrene so it holds up to oven cleaner better. I would still avoid the oven cleaner though. Toxic aerosol=bad times.
no toy's or anything. but I was on vacation a couple weeks ago and finally got to really try out my new 70-200mm L

all of these are untouched JPEG's that went strait from my camera to Flickr.
you know, just looking at it I'm really wondering how it's going to be armed. it's so flat I just can't see it having much of an internal payload (definitely not the dozen or so missiles a flanker would carry).
You know the new Star Tours ride at Disneyland will have pod racing, and it will be in 3-D.
I cried when I found out
every part of my childhood has officially been ruined.
all right, just got an update. aparently affter spending more than a week in flight, my VF-11 finally landed in BETHPAGE, NEW YORK
I'm in California, it's a package from Hong Kong, and it's in NEW YORK...
WTF POST OFFICE?!?
Ok, so I ordered a VF-11b off ebay a couple weeks ago. When I check the tracking number it says the item left Hong kong on the 19th. well it's the 27th (more than a week later) and I've heard no word about it, tracking info hasn't updated or anything. at what point should I start panicking?
