some people have different options on what looks good and what's important. Like how you think side covers should be mandatory accessories, and I'm thankful that Yamato hasn't included them on any of the releases I want/have.
the shooting elements of the show are great, but the reality show elements (i.e. making everyone live together and all the voting politics etc.) are totally bullshit. fortunately there's more good stuff going on so I'm still watching.
also, pistol shooting from a zip-line looks like the coolest thing ever.
In the first 2 Predator movies, 1 Predator is able to kill a bunch of people through overwhelmingly superior strength and technology. The general depiction of predators in the original movies is that they are inferior to humans in terms of intelligence and ingenuity, instead relying on brute force and their advanced weapons to get things done.
what established canon? There was one good movie with Arnold and one poo movie with Danny Glover, neither of which provided any kind of deep development or back-story to the predators other than they hunt shit, and they're good at it. there's barley anything for them to f*ck with.
also AvP primarily screwed with the ALIEN continuity.
you know, I just came in here to speculate on what ridiculous source of panic we'd be having for this release, but it looks like you guys have already beaten me to the punch.
Congratulations everyone, keep up the good work.
personally, I think the monster of the week setup is one of the better aspects of the show. There's definitely a lot of interesting background and a really good overarching story, but I like that I can enjoy any given episode by itself as well as part of the whole series.
first of all it's a model kit (so you should have probably asked in the gunpla thread ). The HY2M Glorious series where 1/60 scale models of Zeon MS's from 0079. IIRC, they're basically PG kits, just of enemy mecha.
here's how I did it. (including the original YF-21 pics): http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=29427&view=findpost&p=762412
anyways the original pictures where shot with an f/4 aperture and 28mm-35mm focal lengths; I had the camera on a tripod adjusted so the lens was level with the gap between the plane and the top of the printer that it's sitting on; and I believe I had the camera sitting about 2-3 feet from the toy.
