  1. A little off topic but how would you (or anyone whom seem it) rate "The Girl Who Lept Through Time"? When I first saw the "The Girl Who Lept Through Time" poster, I thought it has a Ghibli quality and the theme title seems very intriguing. Is it worthwhile to purchase it? I was a little disappointed with "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" when I brought the DVD.
  2. Wow, the images look awesome, it is distinctively Shinkai's movie. Can't wait to get a copy. By the way, The Beautiful World suited 5 centimeter per second better than Eva Rebuild.
  3. Thanks for the head up. I love Shinkai's unique imageries. Didn't know he has a new movie. Must check it out soon.
  4. Let's wait for the 2nd release for the correct spelling
  5. That is a very clever modification. It looks like he attached spare part of the upper legs from an other Cardbo to the arm. Very clever.
  6. One NO vote here. Not because I care for the environment (but what the hell, a few less plastic seal ain't going to save the planet any way..., let's burn to hell with our Yammies...), but there is something about unsealing a new toy that make me feel I have just devalued a perfect toy, and I don't mean monetary value alone. If there is no seal, as long as I look after my toy well, it is always a perfect toy for me. For the same reasons I hate toy accessories that are attached to the plastic carcass.
  7. LV 1 has the prettiest VF-1 box design.
  8. I am surprise to see Bandai continuing the TV Eva Specs. Personally, I think the Movie Eva Specs were much better sculpted than the TV Eva Spec. Although I am an absolute Eva devotee, I really can't see why I would continue the TV Spec line, knowing there will be more Movie Eva Specs to come out. Just out of interest, would you guys buy the TV Eva-02 Specs if it has the same clumsy sculpt as the original TV Eva-01?
  9. Just browse through Yamato's GN-U line line page. It looks like the GN-U line is divided into 3 categories: 1. GN-U Action Figure 2. GN-U Metal Figure 3. GN-U Transformation Figure The new Macross stuff falls into the GN-U Action Figure line. I am more impress with Yamato's other two line in which they re-venturing back to big metal super robot figures. http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/gn-u/all.html
  10. I see potential communication disaster. Also, Paypal is not very popular amongst Japanese. I have to say, YahooJP is making a mistake here for letting Ebay to have a dip into their market. Ebay in Japan was dead, why let them back? Yahoo JP was such as safe environment to buy and sell, but with Ebay's link to the rest of the world....i am a little worried...
  11. Eva-06 looks better than I remembered from the last clip. Not a big fan of the new girl.
  12. Oh yeah!!!! That is how an eva should be, love it. Just be a little picky, the wrist looks a little retarded but overall, loves the panel details and the mean looking sculpt. Hope it is of decent size!!!
  13. You mean Takara instead of Yamato??. I think if you have to pre-order, get the Hot Toy one. History shows that Takara's Cool Girls always have a good flow of stock, meaning you might be a ble to pick up good bargin after the initial excitement.
  14. True to scale is not important to me, just give me something that has similar height to the 1/48 VF and the 1/60 Vf-0. A 1/60 Vf-11 would look odd next to the rest of the Yamato.
  15. When they are not myth busting, they are MCing cons
  16. So glad to see this sucker comes under $250. Looks very posable!!!! Pic Source: Bizzo from Robotjapan
  17. Sent a PM to HWR MKII, I think he brought something from IAD before.
  18. Figures: 1. Walkable Wind-up Minmay Doll 2. Highly detail Minmay and Misa Action figures (similar to those Takara Cool Girls figure) 3. Revoltech Minmay & Misa
  19. Mecha 1. Monster (similar size to Yamato's VB-6) 2. Enemy Pods and Glaug 3. Transformable 2 Seaters Valk to complete the 1/48 series.
  20. Did some one said the Volks Rei & Auska were too freaky?? I think we just have 2 new contenders: Pullip's 31CM tall. I think they are very collectable. Around 13000yen. By the way, I added a review for the Spec Movie Evas here: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?show...0&start=800
