  1. Yeah, it was pretty cheesy. Yes, I know the game had all those elements and such. But maybe I got spoiled by The Raid, its sequel, and those fight sequences in Netflix Daredevil. But other than that first fight scene, I didn’t get that visceral DAMN feeling.
  2. Slight changes which balanced out the display a little better and integrated the lions and vehicles just a bit more:
  3. Yeah, red schemes with blue trim (especially primary blue) RARELY works.
  4. Trying to jog my memory, so I could be completely wrong. But before the black and gold trimmed versions were shown, I THINK Yamato showed off another prototype for the 25th Anni. color scheme. It was universally panned on these boards. Again, I could be completely mis-remembering all this. But it wasn’t anything I was interested in at the time. EDIT: @jenius saved pics for posterity: linky Adventure of Linky 2:  Electric Boogaloo Strikes Back
  5. The black and gold trim ones? Or is there another more colorful version I tried to erase from my memory?
  6. Or Jade. Or Tanya. Or Khameleon. Or Sub-Zero’s daughter. Or dead.
  7. Ah, the Golden Age, back when a variety of folks were pumping out customs of all sorts for the 1/48's, 1/60's, and the Chunky Monkeys. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
  8. Am I the only one wondering what the hell happened to Hanzo's baby daughter? Guardedly optimistic and hoping the rest of the fights will be just as brutal.
  9. Someone who can come up with a damn good, coherent story. Some nice choreographed dogfights that make smart use of quickly switching back and forth between the three modes and some memorable characters would be nice too.
  10. Going old school:
  11. As much as I dig Ivanov's Anti-Pope ride, appreciate the Dobber SchemeTM, and liked the anime, I just never got into collecting the Zero crew. Not sure I'd call the actual toy crimson red though (Maybe in the display/final production pics). Toy itself seems to possibly be magenta, but definitely in the pink-purple range.
  12. Is it just me or does Nora's bird look a little more matte and a shade lighter than the Yamato version? Need @David Hingtgen to chime in on whether the Arcadia color is accurate to the anime.
  13. Is their ship/transport still gonna rock the Padme noseart? Kinda bummed that Echo didn’t keep the handprint on his new armor.
  14. Guess I should post this in the appropriate thread. . . Canned meat byproducts and pre-packaged carbs for all! Wars have been started over less!
  15. Glad to be of service. Though, I did omit the instant raman and the Korean instant noodle bowls. Maybe someone can photoshop those in? Milia knows that Corned Beef is GOLD! Sauté some onions, garlic, and tomatoes; mix the corned beef in; and then put the whole mix on top of rice. <chef’s kiss> No cans have been opened, or packages unwrapped yet. These instant foods are still MISB!
  16. Resources. It’s always a fight over resources! Edit: Sorry, forgot this was the Bandai 1/48 thread.
  17. ^^Can you add some canned corned beef, vienna sausages, and raman/instant noodles into that pic? Hit ALL the quick meal favorites!
  18. Not sure if you intended to lump Bandai’s SOC line in there too, but my GoLion and Dairugger (and the couple of Power Rangers Megazords they also released under this line) would seem to indicate otherwise. About the only things I want out of this whole thing is for Bandai’s preorder process to be less of a freakin’ joke and for someone to FINALLY release an updated, more added features, more accurate, large-scale TV version SDF-1.
  19. French fries need to be crisp on the outside but a little soft on the inside. If they have any flop, it makes Moggy a sad moogle. Nothing kills chili cheese fries worse than limp fries. Asian egg rolls, it really depends on which version/ethnic variation we’re talking about for proper crispness and softness. . . . And crispy outside but floppy inside fried chicken might give you a bout of food poisoning.
  20. Yup, the way the good Lord intended! I kinda like my bacon the same consistency too: a little crisp, but still on the side of floppy.
