  1. One of the best ideas to come out of Frontier: taking the idea of the GBP set-up, but allowing it to be used in all three modes. Always loved the concept, and shows how the Macross universe is progressing with Valk designs.
  2. So . . . because of all these “cost-saving” measures by Bandai, is it probably a blessing that the prototype TV SDF-1 has become vaporware?
  3. How articulated are these little buggers?
  4. Yeah, just finished watching it on +. Not horrible, and actually enjoyed it. Actually did a good job of making an interesting, compelling villain. Definitely helps if you’ve watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier. . . just so you know the mains. But again, a solid outing.
  5. Don’t forget that Wilmon’s girlfriend (that he was sharing a meal with during the ending montage) is also a former Ghorman Front member.
  6. I usually just filter to see what the sold prices are. Gives a pretty good gauge of a real selling price.
  7. Disappointing that Hasbro hasn’t released or announced these particular versions of these figures (with these obvious accessories). So, had to take matters into my own hands:
  8. I do love the tweaks Sentinel did to the design: compacted the fighter mode, redesigned the transformation process to shorten the nosecone on the armo-soldier mode. Part of me wishes there was an option to angle the wings parallel to the ground, instead of having that downward cant. But there’s enough there that it doesn’t look out of place with the original Legioss design.
  9. ^^They think this is a Transformer with all that under-kibble? 🤮 Despise how much the wings jut out in Armo-Diver mode too.
  10. Kinda would suck if his crew doesn’t come with him. Part of the fun was how the other characters started to mesh together.
  11. The one-two punch of the prison escape then Luthen’s awesome monologue sent it to another level. And who’d have thought they’d make compelling, layered characters out of cereal-eating Syril and typical, rank-climbing antagonist Dedra? Even the minor characters are well developed.
  12. Just watched it. Solid flick. Thank goodness they didn’t go with the standard MCU trope of villain with similar super power as the hero. Nice message about And
  13. . . . Other than Cassian killing some soldier because he saw Bix’s face, Syril agreeing to play spy for the ISB, and Wilmon being dropped off with Saw’s wackadoodle faction. But as I said earlier, it’s pretty easy to figure these things out by what was shown and said onscreen.
  14. Each arc is almost like a 3-hour movie. Kinda thankful they didn’t try to stretch these out into a season a piece. Yeah, there’s the initial “What did I miss?” feeling at the start of each arc. But it’s not hard to figure out what’s happened in the interim.
