  1. With that last pic from the above post, I remember Comico using that picture for one of their RT posters (except they removed Houquet and Yellow for some unknown reason).
  2. I think the whole "screwing up the potentially awesome Phoenix storyline" is what did it for me with X3. Even though it's been years since X3 came out, it still irks me to this day about what could have been with that film. (If only Bryan Singer had passed on Superman Returns and worked on X3 instead. ) With Wolverine, I already came in with lowered expectations and didn't expect too much. I understand why folks are annoyed with the film (the Deadpool crap, mutant cameos in almost every scene, etc.). But for me, my expectations going into both of these films had a major impact on my final impression of the two: X3 may have met my crappy expectations. But it only added to my separate disappointment about what could have been. I was expecting Wolverine to be even crappier than X3. And since I really wasn't all that invested in this movie, I could look past the crap I already expected and enjoy those minor parts of the film that were surprisingly good.
  3. Latest M+ display set-up (I forgot how fidgety the M+ fighters can be to transform): [Prior to the pics] Guld in fighter mode, coming in fast at Isamu from 5 o'clock high. Isamu pulls a variation of a cobra turn to evade. Guld counters by switching to Gerwalk to brake and take aim.
  4. Why didn't anyone here tell me about these earlier?!! NEW Bandai Nirvash Spec 2 The END Based on other figures in this Bandai Robot Damashii series, these things will probably be around 19 to 20 cm tall. And they're not model kits and do not require assembly. Credit to Toyark.com for bringing these to my attention.
  5. <sigh> The things I do for my wife . . . Roy: It's about damn time you did another photo-shoot. Roy: What the . . . Roy: You CAN'T be serious?! Roy: <sigh> Damn you, Mog . . .
  6. C'mon now. Everybody knows the best weapons to use against zombies are: * LP records (especially Sade ones); and * Cricket bats!
  7. ^^That would have given everyone two headaches each: a headache in our heads (for her confusing origins) and a headache in our pants (for the skin-tight outfit she wears).
  8. I'm probably fighting a losing battle here, but what are the chances we can confine all news and info. about the Rise of Cobra stuff to this other thread instead? Yeah, I realize we've already talked about the Resolute stuff in this thread. But I think we can all agree that Resolute is a much more worthy and deserving successor than the live-action movie will ever be. It also doesn't help matters when the new toys for Rise of Cobra have those dreaded over-sized, action feature-style weapons. Or worse, they change the Night Raven into a lock-and-load gun. Besides, accelerator suits will have no place in this man's main display shelf :
  9. If she truly loves you, she won't mind the collection. Or if that fails, just wave your hand and tell her, "You don't mind this toy collection."
  10. Does the S.O.B. re-grow a mouth or something? Maybe even saying something like "F*CK THAT HURT!" Other than that, what would be the point of bringing Deadpool back without his quippy mouth?
  11. How about a TV-style ANYTHING, especially: * 1/60 Q-Rau's; * Macross/SDF-1; * Roy VF-1S; and * 1/60 Regults. True, the more recent releases are slowly rectifying this issue. But the TV series needs to be shown a little more love and attention.
  12. Amway. They get all their sh*t from Amway. BTW, the updated HISS tanks looked pretty cool. Glad they updated the clear glass canopy into something a little more armored and fortified.
  13. I just rechecked the end of episode 3, and Wild Bill definitely said, "...And then I guess I'm flying the pair of you to Siberia." Considering he was the only primary pilot in that Joe line-up, it would make sense for Wild Bill to be the pilot of the transport and not "Ripcord*", the HALO jumper. I got nothing against "Ripcord*" tagging along for the mission (It's logical that he would be helping Duke and Scarlett out with the glider/parachute equipment, as its his specialty.). But it kinda bugged me that the so-called "Ripcord*" became the defacto pilot and lead of the transport at the expense of Wild Bill. Especially after they ended episode 3 with that above line from ol' Bill.
  14. I expect better from you, Dante74. No arrow pointing out Connery's E.O.P. = FAIL!!
  15. So, what did everyone think of the ending to Resolute? I thought it was solid, and they certainly left the door ever so open for a potential follow-up series. It's definitely an improvement over the old Sunbow cartoons. But there were some bits and story choices made that I didn't completely agree with. One minor question though: I thought Wild Bill was supposed to be the one piloting the craft that dropped off and picked up Duke and Scarlett. So, why the heck was "Ripcord*" the guy that became the defacto pilot of that pickup craft? Damn live-action movie tie-in crap! One other thing that surprised me is that credits really only listed four voice actors for all of the major parts (unless you count voice cameo as Snake Eyes ...... ).
  16. Kinda sucks about the lack of internal gunpod storage. That was really the one area where the -22 really trumps the -21.
