Even if they do go up for sale earlier, the Japanese website doesn't have the option to ship overseas. It's purely domestic the last time I checked.

That might be a mistake. The super parts are coming out in May and the preorder for the March reissue closed last month.

I think they're happy that we're panicking and buying up all their remaining stock. After all, rebranding wouldn't be as effective if the old products were still in the retail market.

I am a little worried as well, considering that a lot of their 1/60 releases (even the popular VF-1) have been listed as Discontinued. -
Very nice! My only comment is that the YF-19's canards don't look aligned. The right canard seems to be further in front compared to the left one.

I was about to send some parcels when I suddenly felt the urge to camp in front of my PC. 20 minutes later, preorders opened and closed.

I think you should calm down and wait till April for the product to be launched. HLJ will definitely set a 1 per customer limit then so the purchase window will be opened longer than 15 minutes. Besides, considering how HLJ has been operating in the past they might just open up additional preorders within the next few days once they have additional stock. Even Nippon-Yassan managed to get additional stocks but the fact that they can keep pre-orders open for that long is a bit dodgy. Just be patient and wait.

It does seem so. I was eyeing the YF-29 Alto and when I wanted to buy it a few days later, the price went up by 2000 yen. And the only reason I decided to get it was because of the weakening Yen.

I'm getting a few from Nippon-yassan. Seems to be cheapest out there right now but shipping is a bit more expensive.
