I think the VF-25F, VF-25S and VF-27 will be harder to obtain than the YF-29 30th Anniversary.

Has anyone received a payment request/reminder from NY yet? I thought it was NY's standard procedure to request payment 2 weeks before an item's release.

I'm actually starting to suspect that the Amiami re-release was a mistake/error. I've never seen them release a DX chogokin after their office hours and the fact that they're still open till now makes it very suspicious. None of the other retailers are selling them too.

It might not necessarily mean they're sold out. NY does have a habit of pulling down preorders multiple times to bump up the price. It might go back up again with a few more units soon.

The YF-29 was released 3 times by HLJ. First during the actual release, then a restock in December and the reissue 2 months back so that might explain why it's still easily available. Some people here speculated that the only reason they reissued it was because Bandai had more super parts than the actual toy itself. Don't think that'll be the case this time around since they're bundled as a set.

It's a little complicated. He didn't expect to be in financial difficulties this month and I've known him for 8 years. Plus, there's always an interested buyer so I don't mind being burdened with additional units to sell. Also, that picture was taken a few days ago before I started selling them off. I'm already sold out so please don't ask me for a unit.

I meant I was out of money for food since I had to pay for all those units. I've already managed to sell a few so I'm not gonna turn into Christian Bale from the Machinist.

I was about to but luckily there was a demand for them so I'm happy enough to be able to recover my cost. I'm gonna make him pay me upfront next time.

Wondering why I'd want that many VF-171 CF? Here's what happened: 1. Tried to get a preorder but failed. 2. Panicked, and asked a proxy to get a squadron of 3 units for me. Paid upfront 3. Friend panicked, asked me to get another 3 for him. Paid upfront 4. Preorders opened up online and managed to get 3 units at a cheaper price. 5. Friend couldn't pay for the 3 units he ordered so I was stuck with his. And before you guys bash me, I got 6 of them from Yahoo Auctions Japan via a proxy. Now I'm busy unloading the extra units to pay for my lunch.

Who are these "Chinese fans" you guys keep mentioning? I thought the Japanese scalpers were the only one.

Like someone else mentioned, just let it sit there for now. You don't want to draw attention to yourself. If you're really worried, just remove it yourself from the order list.

Err no. They said if they caught anyone ordering more than 1, they'll cancel the orders and suspend their account. Maybe it depends on whether or not you're a repeat offender.

I asked them about it once due to an error and they advised me not to do it or they'll cancel all my orders and ban my account.

HLJ has a history of accepting orders and not fulfilling them, but not for preorders since they always receive additional stock once the product is out.

I find it amusing that HLJ has put up preorders for Bandai releases in August but not the VF-27. They keep saying 'awaiting stock confirmation'.

I've never seen a link to future products appear days before the actual sale begins, except HLJ. The earliest I've seen is hours.

They had last Monday, Friday and today off. There's also a sale going on so it might take a while for your shipment to be processed. I usually have to wait a week if its during a sale.

It's almost impossible to get a preorder with Amiami coz their site refuses to load once the preorders are open. It's easier to get one from NY but the mark up is kinda high, depending on when you get it.

HLJ has been very inconsistent with their preorder dates. The RVF-25 was released almost a month after other retailers.
