  1. Looks like we're all back to being (pre vf-171 cf) crazy.
  2. It's been 'Waiting' ever since I placed the order.
  3. They're additional parts that can need to be detached before transforming.
  4. It's a 2-piece adapter that slots into the plane. It's a real pain to get the gunpod locked into place when the plane is on the stand though. It keeps popping off so I tend to leave it lying on the stand instead of being attached to the plane. It's a lot like the fold booster attachment for the YF-19/22.
  5. This toy looks really good in person. I was worried the green would look horrible like Ang Lee's Hulk but it's a really nice shade of green.
  6. Received my unit this morning. I'll have to take a closer look at the toy after I get some work done. Please excuse the camera flash. My camera is old and my room is kinda dim.
  7. I have a feeling Otacute will not deliver.
  8. HLJ will probably be billing us tonight.
  9. Already up for preorder at NY. http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/macross/5368-macross-f-super-parts-set-for-dx-chogokin-vf-25g-messiah-valkyrie-michel-blanc-custom-renewal-ver-limited-edition.html
  10. The super parts & ghost bundle is already up for preorder at NY and AE. http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/macross/5369-macross-f-super-parts-ghost-set-for-macross-f-dx-chogokin-rvf-25-messiah-valkyrie-luca-custom-renewal-ver-limited-edition.html
  11. Is it me or does HLJ always have a sale when a new DX is about to be released? Guess we'll have to wait an extra 3 days for our RVF-25 to be shipped then.
  12. It's a webshop release so it'll be available for purchase up to a month or two via proxies or NY/AE.
  13. I don't think its fair to gauge the popularity of the vf-27 based on the vf-171 cf and the rvf-25. The VF-25F reissue in July would be a much better indicator.
  14. Unlikely to happen unless they reissue the renewals a few months down the road like the yf-29 30th anniversary.
  15. Makes you wonder if those units that both amiami and hobby search sold weeks after the initial release were actually returned products.
  16. Mehh looks like I won't be getting mine this week. They sent the item out yesterday but it just reached customs today.
  17. Mine has been shipped so I hope I get it by this week. Looks like NY has the super parts for sale: http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/macross/4020-macross-f-super-parts-set-for-dx-chogokin-yf-29-durandal-valkyrie-30th-anniversary-color-limited-edition.html Credits to KH355hamdi for the heads up.
  18. Same here. Received an e-mail 25 minutes ago. Can't wait to get my greasy paws on them.
  19. NY has lowered the price to 14,500 yen. Might be a good time to get additional units. The rest of you who bought one at the earlier, inflated price might want to start crying. I wonder if the same will happen to the RVF-25.
  20. Back up at Hobby-search for 12,600 yen and it's limited to 3 per customer.
  21. No updates from NY yet. I thought they'd send it out on Friday but I guess Bandai really did release the item on Saturday.
  22. I tried transforming mine today and I never knew I could cause that much damage to a toy in a single attempt. Almost looks like Edward Scissorhands tried to play with it.
  23. Any photos of the super parts yet? It should be out today.
  24. Yikes. That's around the time my company shifts to a new office.
  25. Since someone mentioned that the only reason Yamato couldn't do a VF-4G Hikaru was because the battroid/gerwalk mode was never shown in the original cartoon, could it mean that the licensing cost is different for a model kit in a single, fixed configuration versus a toy that can swap between 3 modes? Plus, Hasegawa produces a lot of variants that are not based on the original franchise/TV series. I would assume that it's cheaper to obtain a license if the source is less popular.
