As someone that enjoyed the movie that was a great read - thanks for posting the link. I'm also glad Neill didn't "spoon-feed" the audience, there was enough explained that you didn't have to suspend your disbelief to normal Hollywood levels. What was left vague in the story didn't feel like they just left it that way because there was no explanation, but rather it assumes the audience can make some well informed inferences/assumptions from what was presented in the story. -b.

Agreed, the Colonel was definitely one of the strongest, most engaging characters in the film. Besides Brad Pitt and the dude from The Office I barely remember any of the other Basterds. And having recently watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 they did reuse some of the same music/score. IMHO Not a bad watch (especially considering what this summer has had to offer) but if you're no fan of Tarantino then you may want to stay far, far away. -b.

I've got the "Limited" version, and there's no pilot (or any Colonial Marine for that matter), only the Alien Queen. This version is also clean, with no weathering. I like it, but I wish I bought the standard version instead. I was REALLY impressed until I broke the damn thing (the part off of the nose, airspeed indicator, or whatever it's called), but that's my damn own fault. And yep, the APC should have been included for the price. -b.

Well make that (3) with the encoding issues for Ch. 26 of ANH. I haven't tried it on any of my other players, but after reading this last page why bother? I also have the WS version. Besides that one very annoying issue the releases are decent enough... -b.

You should pick it up. The yellow ones (called Essence) give Ryu currency to buy stuff and upgrade other stuff (sword for one). Blue gives you health, and Red gives you Ki power back, needed to perform specialized attacks. -b.

I've been playing Ninja Gaiden for the better part of (4) days. I agree that the camera angles can be annoying at time, but not enough to make more than a very minor stink about it. Besides, the right trigger button will 're-center' the camera behind Ryu. As a casual gamer, I feel like I got my $ 50 worth. -b.

Couldn't agree more with Whiskey on this one. Grew up with G1 which peaked with Transformers: The Move. And Beast Wars for what is was worth (especially the later episodes) where damn good. At one time (or maybe even currently) Transfomers was the best selling toy line of all time? I could be mistaken but I remember something to that effect a few years back. -b.
