1. EDIT: double-post deleted. What the frelling smeg was happening last night, just sat and timed out when I tried to do anything?
2. How much you pay for an early double digit/artist proof Alpha? How much for four of them and artist proof Scott Bookends? https://www01.charityfolks.com/cfauctions/a...elief%20Auction If you said $1000+, you guessed right. For a good cause and all, but little out of my price range...
3. It'll literally mirror Firefly then, short run at cinema, more than make up for it in DVD sales. No great for a sequel though.
4. Vera... I don't remember if it was in the movie, gotta see it again. 333453 Not the Vera of the TV series no...
5. We see mix of asian extras, ranging from Aliance troopers/bridge crew to that zany guy doing shadow theater of humanity leaving the Earth That Was in 'Heart of Gold'.
6. Carrying Legioss gunpods while they do so (medium autocannons at any rate)
7. And long the same lines last century... Life size Hunter Heavy Gear
8. I guess the cost is the reason he's asking. $10Aus for those tiny bricks, I can't consider Super Scuplty
9. Been awhile, but the SARGS aren't alien pieces, they are human pieces, pieces of Yuri the astronaut who was sent off to Pluto (IIRC) It fails and he's left floating in an escape pod with a desperate desire to go home, back to the home he shared with his wife (the pilgramage point), the SARGS are created from that desire, and are pieces of him, and why all of them have a copy of his wedding ring.
10. Damn, now I've got to search through the member gallery to try and find the ASC ATAC armor painted up like a GM, looks great even in the banner.
11. Unless it was a modified and renamed version no chance, much like one company producing the Back to the Future II aircar to get around the licensing issues of producing a Bladerunner cop spinner, Toynami hold the Japanese Mospeada toy rights and don't seem to inclined to do as you suggest...
12. Clear Shadow Fighter was a ToyFare exclusive, Metallic Shadow is a Robotech.com exclusive. Complete round-up, Metallic Blue was a Toynami booth con exclusive, Green Gamespot and Red AFX, but nowdays you can buy all four metallics at RT.com Store, but the clear is only available via Wizard's online store or bay of E.
13. Which is more important? The card or the plastic? For me the card, so with scalpel in hand I cut close to the bottom of the "wall" along three sides, normally top/right/bottom, and I can open the packaging without damaging the card and only damaging the plastic enough to allow access/possible reaccess. But that's me.
14. Using previous the release of info on the MPCs as an example, IMO we've seen 90% of the all the info that'll be released about the MPC Beta in 2005, the remaining bits being magazines telling us what we already know and showing us what we've already seen, and maybe Toynami studio shots of the prototypes.
15. Actually it looks like that Alpha that a guy built and tried to sell on Ebay.
16. Not really, the bomb bay/passenger bay isn't in the groin block but above it, but the stairs to get into the bay are stored in the groin block just behind where the front landing gear tires rest retracted.
17. The Beta's cockpit doesn't form the head, it folds down to become the front chest section, that covers the Fighter mode center gun. The head just pops up from it's bay behind the cockpit.
18. Somewhere, deep in the Outback, a man named Cyclone weeps. 310653 Le sigh....
19. That's the question of how Toynami are going to do the Beta's front landing gear/Alpha connector, the front in that second last color pick does have the correct shape but how does it connect to the Alpha? How will they get around something that anime magically retracted flush and almost invisible in the Beta's groin block?
20. Basically the success of the first films allowed Lucas the freedom to do things his way, until he basically inbred the francise.
21. Tarkin wasn't CGI, but Commander Cody without helmet was a combination of real and CGI which just looked freakish. You could tell that made a partial suit for him, chest plate at least, why not the whole hog...
22. *eyebrows go up* I felt DS9 mined every last frigging ounce of the Mirror-verse, but that sounds wow Cyc
23. Torn... Can't really judge Ariel/Non-frisky Living Marlene based on the fact we can't see her dead on, but Scott appears to suffer a redesign to make him edgier and the good looking simple style of the Mars Base uniform is tainted by IMO freakishly ugly Macross and SC styles and looks tacky. So it's the Sentinels all over again, ignore the character art and focus on the reused existing designs Cyc (who readily admits to personal blind sports such as if they get Frank Catalano back to voice Rand, Shadow Chronicles can do no wrong in his mind)
24. Last I heard, Toynami still had the international MOSPEADA license, so... Yes, but following a familar path of thought around these parts, just because Toynami have the worldwide rights to product Mospeada toys, does that automatically cover stuff from sequels? Mospeada: Love Live Alive doesn't appear to be fair game for HG, so I doubt Toynami's existing Mospeada rights would cover it. Not saying that any Shadow Chronicles toy license Toynami may or may not be nutting with Harmony Gold wouldn't though... Cyc (who still disbelieves that RT:SC will be Mospeada 2 until proof is offered)
