shin, where'd you hear that? I'm really hoping the neo-g1 isn't vaper ware
Hunh?! Where'd you see that? The Mirage looks great, and yes, the knees are compleatly miss transformed, look at some earlier release photos and you'll see how they should be.
Short Circuit counts as a classic?
As for a supremely overrated movie, Stagecoach. Bad acting, stupid dialogue, yet is still given classic status. Go fig.
And while I don't hate it, I have to say Fight Club is a fairly overrated movie.
That is some impressive work. I'm really shocked at the level of detail he was able to create from just lego bricks. I wonder how much just the raw materials cost to build the thing.
Oh man there were so many at that time... I remember in 80's they sold a very rare machine robo "trim sponsor" (orange truck carrying a green battletank) which was only seen in the machine robo anime. I can't find any info about it on the net.

that one pops up on ebay from time to time, usually goes for about 40 to 50
I have one, sorry don't have any pics as I'm off at college and it's back at home. It's a decent toy I suppose, it's not very sturdy though and is more like an over sized HG gundam model than anything else.
I will take some time and unless its perfect then I will bin it. Perfect means 100% no corners cut etc. Over the years I have seen the levels some of the Anime acurate scratch built stuff and unless its spot on its no good, so i will push my self right to the limit to make it to the best of my abilities.
Rigth now Im just gathering stills of Skyfire and thinking about the construction soon I will start some sketches etc then plan it out. I want him to be the same size as the 1/55 Vf1 as this is in keeping to his "original roots".

I know its not really meant to be in this area of the forum but I always wanted an Anime acurate Skyfire I love the Jetfire obviously but hes not really Transformer-ish. To that end I am looking at making my own using all my modeling and moldmaking skills. If I do get some success then I will of cause post at M.W first. If It goes how I want it I may even be able to make resin casts from it.

If it turns out really really well, and I mean it would have to be a professional job, I'd be all over it.
My wallet just started to cry.
Also I know there was some uncertainty earlier if the wings would over lap or not, from these pictures you can see that they clearly do, at least a little.
