I'm pretty sure in the commentary during END states that there is a theory that ANNO did end as an F-off to the fans who thought the TV ending was weak and/or confusing.

I disagree since she had no soul to start with and was just a shell that was meant to hold the LCL or the physical manifiestation of it or whatever..... We should really start a new thread or find one of the (hundreds) of old EVA threads...

Spatula: I watched the series over a period of a month and it still...lingers...then I saw end on the action channel about 2 weeks ago.... I still think the series is great, but the ending is just....harsh.

I think the hory froating head stated at some point that they disappeared into a black hole....effectively ending any chance of seeing them ever again.

I think that at this point it is very unlikely that the hikkie 1s will get re-issued. Both the hikkie 1s and the max 1a didn't get a lot of love when they were initially released, so it's doubtful yamato would release another round. On the other hand, Roy sells like crazy with every release.

I would check ebay completed auctions if you want to be absolutely sure about the going price. I think the last one went for over $300. I doubt a fellow MW would charge that much, but who knows? As far as rarity, it's not as rare as the low-vis, but probably about as rare as a 1a max. One minute, everybody's selling them, about a month later, they're all gone. I should have bought 2 when I had the chance.....

He deifinitely looks like he's wearing one of Hackman's old suits, but I'd much rather Spacey play him like Luthor from Superman:TAS.

The trailer is pretty cool. I really liked the use of John William's music and the Brando voice-over. I'm still not sold on Routh as Supes yet, but I'll wait until I see it in theaters before I post "Routh is teh suck as Superman!!!"

The best way to take over a planet is to start out with small land and air based attack craft. Then you go in with a mutant that has been enhanced by Hagar the Witch and enlarge him to ginormous proportions to take care of the mop up. Obviously, your only weakness will be against giant combining robots.

Yeah, that was a great show actually. I remember hearing at the time that it was THE most expensive being produced on TV. The Flash deserves another shot more than Aquaman. I don't think a hook hand makes him anymore interesting.

That's what I don't understand. Aquaman is probably the least popular superhero since.... well.... since Aquaman. Why not make a show for a character that has some kind of fanbase?

Apparently someone at WB started thinking Aquaman was actually good enough to get a TV show: Now AQUAMAN gets a show???!!! I guess they're just scraping the barrell for Superfriend's leftovers at this point. Of all the other heroes in the DCU, they pick Aquaman? The Flash or Green Lantern would be much better as a show. I guess now they can have underwater angst and drama...just like on Seaquest, but on the wb!
