Thank you, that does give me some idea, but I don't exactly equate ebay prices to prices people here might pay. Altho, since ebay prices are usually much higher, if subtracting 13% for ebay fees, 3% PP fees, etc, I think I'd rather just keep them if I can only expect to get $60 for them.

What are HMR SDFM valks going for these days without OE packaging? Lightly played with and transformed with all pieces and accessories meticulously accounted for. These are almost always priced with original boxes claiming to be like new. I bought a loose one without the box and no accessories for $75 shipped once, but that was a few years ago.

If I may chime in as an owner of both; After seeing jenius's glowing review, I picked up 2 of the Yamatos (one of each type) when Bandai first announced the release causing Yammie prices to plummet temporarily. I thought they were excellent toys, but yeah, they kinda do need some support in battroid/gerwalk. Personally, I love the incredible detail that Bandai puts into their valks, but with the dark blue color, I really don't feel it's necessary and like the simpler look of the Yamato. I'm a huge fan of the DX line in general, and usually MUCH prefer them to Arcadia/Yamato offerings, but this is the one sole exception for me (altho, I will pass on the DX 17 and am looking for a Yamato version). The only saving grace of the DX is the bigger legs. Otherwise, I hate how the backpack was designed, and the fighter mode just doesn't look right either. If I could swap the DX legs onto the Yamato, I would. But there's no models except battroid only, non-transforming ones that really get the anime magic right in battroid where the backpack isn't ginormous. Kinduv impossible otherwise. Btw, I would NOT recommend settling for the 1/72 Yamato version! It is complete garbage imho. And because everyone likes pics, here's my Yamato YF-21 posed with my DX YF-19:

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has seen or bought this? Just saw it in my suggested items on Amazon this morning, and it... actually looks pretty good with some good reviews too! The brand name is totally sus tho, "Stadrewvy". 😄 This is clearly a knockoff brand, so does anyone know if this is from some name brand like Mega Blocks, etc.? Edit; This got moved from my new thread to here, so my questions are moot. Thanks mods! Sorry I didn't see this thread, but I didn't remember ever seeing it come up before in the new activity (and I look at it nearly every day).

He seems to have a lot of extra figs for custom painting. Must be all the ones that were supposed to come with the regults. Glad he has the luxury of making all these customs that nobody wants instead of shipping what his customers actually paid for. Unsubscribed, and not buying anything else from KC even if they come out with a Kakizaki fig or a 1/2000 TV SDFM. Get stuffed KC!

Ace Combat 8 - Wings of Theve coming 2026
Pontus replied to davidwhangchoi's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Pardon me if this offends the Ace Combat fandom here as I am not a gamer by any means, but does this game require using a flight stick accessory to play effectively? I tried playing AC7 on my PS5 and found it completely unplayable with a standard controller and settings. It was so awful that I didn't even bother trying to adjust anything. I couldn't get anything I was trying to fly towards - even static things - to stay on screen let alone within my reticle. But I'm not very precise with tiny sensitivities of analogue sticks, so I assume it's just not for me. But I was a "Genius" at Robotech; Battlecry. I really miss that game. Blast into a war zone in fighter mode with missile salvos, drop into battroid with guns akimbo hitting incoming missiles, grab or do something or other and blast out of there in gerwalk while strafing regults around buildings. Man that was a great game! AC7 did not scratch that itch tho.- 27 replies

Thinking of placing a pre-order for M&Ms at BBTS; What are the current tariff charges looking like? I tried googling and couldn't make sense of it.

I respectfully disagree. With great balance in the mode, a backpack that folds up nicely with an antenna, a gunpod strap, crystal clear canopy with good interior/pilot detail, the flaps on the legs that allow the feet to articulate, perfect scale SDMF fixed pose hands, not to mention the head that drops down perfectly underneath, I would submit that this is by far the best in gerwalk in which mine stays on my shelf at work here. THAT HEAD DROP THO! It's beautiful! All that batroid has but with the wings out and canopy cleared. I hate gerwalk in almost every later valk, but I will always have a soft spot for VF-1 Gerwalk. And this one nails it!😍

They have VF-1S in stock currently. They offered a full refund but not a replacement? Or are you talking about a different model they don't have in stock?

The 'Hey look at this really cool model build I saw' post
Pontus replied to Shawn's topic in Model kits
That's actually exactly what I was thinking, but perhaps with some extension and extra optics. Of course @Bolt is right, the glaug itself seems like a much more natural choice, and I do have a 1/72 model kit. I guess I just thought of it as a more laid back, high rank officer vehicle that was all about big firepower and not as maneuverable. Regults seem more suited for articulation and crouching that a sniper would need. -

Glad I'm not alone in this thinking. I specifically avoided the HMR Regults and Glaug because I didn't feel that they matched scale with the valks very well. I bought 1/72 model kits but was excited to see the KC toy. Although, now that I'm collecting everything in 1/60 scale, I guess I'll never have properly scaled regults... unless I or someone else ever 3D prints them. Speaking of Regult model kits, I was planning on building mine as a non-canon custom sniper model. It seems like something that should probably exist considering there's a scout model (and now that I say that, I think I need a spec ops scout to go with it as a pair!). Has anyone already built something like this? I was thinking of doing some sort of stealth/starfield camo and/or sticking with the regult color scheme except with a shift to black and purple. -
They've been using the same style elbows on all of their figures and this doesn't look any different. Every elbow in these toy pics looks like it lines up in a different place on the arm too. I know we're all hating on KC right now which is fair, but this just seems like it's not only a moot point in regards to toy function not to mention a clear design element based on the actual art. I mean, in the mecha manual pic I posted, it clearly shows every. single. armor. with elbows like that (and even some of your pics trying to prove otherwise). I just don't understand where this is coming from, but I'll digress now.

Not to be rude, but... why does it matter? This is just the stock pose and how it's packaged. They got the shape right and it's clearly on a swivel peg (like a revoltech joint) so you can rotate it however you like just like valkyrie arms that came built and packaged the exact same way, but nobody complained about this on their HMR valks:

Everyone keeps mentioning the side elbow guards and saying how silly it looks (and I don't disagree), but that's exactly how they're depicted in the animation. All the line art depicts it. It's in every zentran/meltran armor in both the show and movie. It's like a major, common design element of not only personnel armor, but also the valkyries.
