I don't think I have ever been able to find a Tamashii Stage Act Trident or Trident Plus stand for a decent price (less then $20 US). I'm not paying $40+ for one. Here's a link to a 3 pack of Stage Act 5 on Amazon.com for $25. There is a 2 pack for $21.98, but you know... TAMASHII NATIONS Bandai Act.5 for Mechanics Clear Action Figure The 2 pack was $9.99 back in 2019 and the 3 pack was $10.53 back in 2017!

Keep an eye out for the Regult Missile Type Set. It is one of the more difficult to get especially at a good price. It was a TWE item. Currently sold out at Mandarake... https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1081982862&ref=list&keyword=hi metal macross&lang=en&deviceId=1

Brass rods perhaps?

I totally had the same thought. I honestly don't know if this current batch has all the tampo as the original KO release. I don't see all the "no step" in the pictures. Less then 6 days on the price and 5 left from that seller.

Because it is something from Max's personal collection? MILK the MOLD! pass for me... not a big Macross Zero fan and severely space limited. seriously have to pick and choose.

I suspect it is missing the projectiles and the spring in the gun.

For me, it has value because it is a ligament item from the factory that should not have existed. Thus it should be rare. Therefore keep it as is and you can find the appropriate armor to keep along with it if it makes you feel better. That's assuming that it wasn't assembled to create a "rare" item. The age of the plastic however, makes it worryingly fragile.

CDJapan was much the same last night for me. It went from no listing to a sold out listing in about 2 minutes. The last few time I tried to PO through them it has been that way for me. I managed to get one from HLJ. For whatever reason I seem to have the most "available time" to order stuff with them.

I also had a similar issue with my VT-1. Make sure you read the part on how to apply the pressure to the foot. It is a rather nerve racking process. Take your time with it. Don't try to get there all at once.

These are the premium toys that I could never have when I was a kid. With three children, my parents could not easily spend on me what was easily a week's worth of food money. We all understood this. I waited 35 years to finally get a 1/55 for myself! And even then it was easily a week's worth of food money! The history is indeed interesting, its just that there are not many of us that have the drive and devotion to dive into this. Thanks to all of you for sharing your knowledge. Kawamori did an incredible job designing this. It is one of the very few transforming toys of the era that looked good from the top, bottom and all they way around in all modes.

It's totally going to fall backwards without the stand at some point. I hope I'm wrong.

I would rather they be regular releases. I rather not deal with proxies if I don't have to. Blue TWE Phalanx I could see. Either way, need them. Glad they adjusted the colors on the Tomahawk.
