    Dude, sorry to hear of your loss. It was always a treat to see you scratch build your projects. Thank you for always sharing their progress. My limited understanding of apartment insurance is that the insurance of "he who leaks", pays for the damages to the affected properties. Hopefully they have a policy for that. Your scratch builds are the big unknown as the are unique. Extremely difficult to place a value on those. If you have an association they may be able help or give guidance on the repairs. Hopefully they're not the unaccommodating type.

    There is the option of waiting until release day and trying to get one from either Jungle or Mandarake. Hard part is trying to remember to try to buy it on release day.

    While it is a toy, the question is "what age group is this toy for?" Unlike the Chunky Monkey, it doesn't appear that it is intended for 10 year olds. So they add a bunch of details and add a bunch of gimmicks and call it a collectable. Then limit the production run and change a premium for it. Chunky Monkeys weren't that cheap back in the day either. Not sure if it would be $260 adjusted for inflation though.

    While that are quite a few reasons why one's pants may display that way (like say, padded riding undergarments), I think the larger issue is that it kinda makes you want to find out. I do like the fase sculpt, I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a more mature version of her. Her proportions may be a bit off maybe?

    For some reason I was thinking magnets to hold either position, but that could scratch up your pain job. I am also no engineer. I loved building models when I was young, but was never able to stick with it or go all the way with paint. I'm just glad you all take the time to document your progress to share with the rest of us. I can't wait to see what it looks like once you are satisfied with it.

    Gerwalk is special. It is the mode you use to catch people (usually women for whatever reason) falling in the sky. The best thing is that there is a mode for everyone to enjoy. Unless you are one of those who wants to be able to display in all modes. Then you have some unique challenges.

    I do like the TV series a bit more than the movies. It could be argued that because of Alto's background, he and Sheryl relate at a level that Ranka is only beginning to understand. She this, cannot complete like Sheryl.

    HCM is still my nostalgia king! But if they can sell me a VF-1 for $60, HCM will go into the closet for next to forever! ..... maybe. Probably never going to happen at that price. Wait and see I guess.

    That was probably such a big in joke at the animation studio. There was probably a reason why we never saw it out of fighter mode in the show. That or I totally blanked it out of my memory.

    As the VF-0 isn't that much bigger than the VF-1, it makes me wonder if we might see a HMR VF-1 Renewal of sorts.
