  1. In my case I did combine it, since I had a larger sized RG Gunpla and a bunch of Hachette issues.
  2. Something like the metal robot damashii Gundam figures?
  3. Should contact customer service, because that's pretty awful.
  4. Same, for under $250. Gotta love that exchange rate combined with a 10% off coupon.
  5. Anyone have the P-Bandai product page link? Edit: https://p-bandai.jp/item/item-1000174718/ VF-31AXカイロスプラス(ハヤテ・インメルマン機)対応アーマードパーツセット
  6. Addendum: If you think it's out of their reach, you're wrong. They do love to jump and climb.
  7. That monster is looking good! In other news, Amazon Japan charged me for my Ranka VF-25 last night, so ought to be on the way soon. Gotta love that exchange rate, $70.67 shipped with DHL.
  8. Yep, this seems like production and QC issues. I'm guessing there's been a lot of changes in the factories Bandai outsources these to (pretty sure the DX aren't made in-house).
  9. Just pulled my Roy edition out of the box to check, fortunately looks like everything is good there. Guess I made the right call not getting a "Rick".
  10. Yeah, they're definitely aiming for the same style ok kits as Bandai. Mostly snap-fit, doesn't need a lot of putty and modding. Mostly out-of-the box ready, no painting or messing with decals.
  11. It’s pretty clear that for whatever reason the worldwide release HMR has a much higher markup than other Bandai products, even other Bandai Worldwide Macross products. The question is why? Did they have to pay HG a license fee because it has the UN Spacey kite? Is it because it’s an unproven line internationally and thus they set the msrp higher to entice stores to carry it?
  12. They do have their own factories for gunpla, IIRC the DX Chogokins and some other premium figure lines are not made in house.
  13. AE gave me a tracking number for mine, but it's not active yet.
  14. Which makes the pricing even more ridiculous. The surface shipping cost per unit is almost certainly under $10...
  15. Fyi, their pricing/intro discount seems to be very volatile. I saw three different discounted prices, depending on if I was signed in or not, and if the item was in my cart.
  16. Except that the international shipping is benefiting from economy of scale, with many things being shipped together at lower individual price. It should be less expensive overall, as the larger portion of the shipping cost is the international shipping, which is benefitting from being in a larger container with many other items.
  17. No idea, but when AmiAmi had it for $105 after exchanging to USD, there’s no way I’m paying over $180 shipped. That’s just absurd.
  18. That requires being a new customer.
