Agreed, that was my impression.

1 was ok. 2 pretty much jumped the shark somewhere in there. Never saw 3. Extremely unlikely I'll see this one.

Mobo is EVGA "X58 3x SLI" According to it's manual, with two GPU, it x16/x16; with three GPU, it's x16/x8/x8. I'm only planning 2 really. If I was a hardcore baller, I'd consider 3 but not. The 5850's seem to be the most recommended, so that'll probably be what I do. Thanks all! -

Oops, sorry, that's just for the GPU. The Core i7 etc is what I built in the last thread. -

What's a good GPU/vid card setup I should be looking for? To refresh; Core i7 930 mild overclock/ air cooled 6GB tri-channel DDR3 X58 3x SLI board Budget: say $500-600. Doesn't need to be crazy or bleeding edge. -
Or was she like Jacob/MiB's real mom's ghost? Or some of the spirits Hurley sees (including Richard's wife).

The stealing from [all] rich is a figment of the 20s. The roots of the Robin Hood story are in the attempted usurpation of what would end up being a crappy Weak king while the cool king was off on the Third Crusade (more specifically when imprisoned when he got caught by a political enemy on the way back). The "rich" being stolen from were 'evil rich' who were piling on taxes on top of already unpopular taxes raised for th Crusade (Saladin Tithe) adding arbitrary and unjust decisions ("no poaching in the kings forest, who cares if you're starving?") The original concept would have had an (at least) more sympathetic Sheriff with Robin Hood being a bad guy perhaps, more criminialish element that A1 could have approved of, perhaps.

Body separated from it's spirit sounds like a corpse... unless he was able to transfer his Katra and "remember." He likes to feel his feet to the ground to remind himself 'he was once human.' Who was a mistake that Jacob was hoping to fix. Speaking of which, think we're going to see Richard again?

Jack is a father, why would motherhood exempt Kate. Jacob said they had a choice, regardless of what was written... I'm still betting on Hurley.

NATF, we hardly knew ye.

Ah my bad. If your BD drive is shot (far less frequent than YLOD), there is a DIY on blu-ray.com on how to replace your diode yourself. It's more expensive than the YLOD DIY fixes but you guarantee your own PS3. Probably simpler to do a backup and then just pay the $150, though

Finally made Admiral on Saturday. Tried to stay vanilla Sovereign, but ended up Noble Nacelles. At first I used a Majestic Primary Hull but was most bugged by where they put the registry and name so ended up with Noble there, too. I didn't find the Galaxy's turning so bad, though I'm sure the RCS Accelerator mk VIII didn't hurt. This Assault Cruiser with the RCS Mk X is nuts, though... I can do a Cobra in sector space and am regularly drifting/skidding even in combat, enough that it's hurting my shield facings while I'm getting used to it.

Seems like just about every firmware update I've seen people post correlating that with their increase in fan noise. Check the various threads at blu-ray.com or AVSforum. It's possible they're changing stuff, but just as likely it's the accumulation of dust and it's a placebo effect on the firmware update.

Glad I didn't buy the Armored when I had the chance. Love it all modes with the armor, but the toy just isn't up to snuff.

Just wish they would allow international orders without increased rapage from going through evil-bay or other intermediaries.

I still like the 1/60 YF-19. All it needs is a few improvements: 1) locking tabs on the chest in Battroid, etc. 2) Most of the rest of the Samurai look is most easily accomplished by using the silhouette from the FP. Bonus points for adjusting minutae. WRT the head, all they really need to do is a tab similar to that of the chunky Bandai 1/65 M7 Fire/Blazer. Have a bigger tab on a hinge that fully covers the neck from the base of the back of the head. Make it removable for the really anal-retentive of us displaying primarily battroid. It's still perfect transformation as long as we don't NEED to use detail pieces that accentuate one mode over another.

See my disclaimer above on a fat starting to make noise. Break that sucker down and blow it out if you're not under warranty anymore. If you got an extended, just wait it out for it to die, cause that's the first symptom.

You're pretty amusing to read, but can't seem to take what you dish out. You spent 3 days on that post? I used to think you were semi-rational. Not sure what happened to you when you went away to your own site, or what happened to it there. plonk

Only really like the first movie and first couple seasons before they jumped the shark. I hate hate hate reboots, though. Go to a certain point of view or just creatively ignore what came before maybe but no reboot

Did Battle 7 disband or something or did I get kicked out? Says I'm not in a Fleet anymore. You'd think you'd get an email or notification of that...

Heh, some of that stuff reminds me of the silly theories certain folks had about Palpatine being a clone of Sidious, etc Smoke IS MiB, but FakeMom seemed to know what would happen about the fate worse than death and all that. How could she have known that, but for personal experience? FakeMom must've had the ability to turn smokey herself (or knows someone?) who wasted all the villagers in a manner similar to MiB killing the crew of the ship Richard came on.

oops, forgot I was in a discussion on this in this forum. Ah, I wasn't aware that smoke pillars could do resurrection. Next time I see one in whatever other form of entertainment, I'll make sure to note that as one of it's capabilities. Was Sayid always that naive or just since his own revival? Maybe Desmond mentioned to ask SmokeMan where he was going to get her body to bring life back into.
