  1. Some out standing work there. I think that the first Macross F14 build I have seen. I like your stands too they look the part. Did you scratch build the launch arm or was it a garage kit ?
  2. Me too Bro all I seem to do lately is just dust them.
  3. That is exactly what killed it. IMO they should have stayed with the alternate universe that they did in the last series. It patched in with the alt universe stories from TOS and DS9. that universe was way more interesting. You could almost tell the acotrs liked doing something that wasnt just run of the mill "reconfigure the deflector to...." or "what if we make <insert techy device> produce a tachion wave of 2.5billion ghz....." and the goody goody type story arcs they had to play with. When they first billed Enterprise over here in the U.K I was interested as to how it would workwith out transportters warp 9 and universal translators. I though it would make it a grity story that would be more "real" and a bit more like B5 and that the good guys wouldnt always win. Then after the first series I worked it out they'd just write in all the usual stuff and it would be the same. Have Trip make such and such or have Hoshi learn the language in 10 minutes. Shoot a few bad guys dodge the time traveling badies and home for tea and medals.
  4. Received my order two days ago. Excellent job. I really like what I see. They make the Hasegawa ones look a little poor in comparison IMO. Thanks Petar.
  5. Yeah it does, makes a whole hill of difference to one area that is really a let down on the 1/55.
  6. I think this guy deserves a thread of his own. The hands did you make em or are they something one can buy.
  7. Well the trailer looks better than I'd hoped despite the grainy Youtube quaility. maybe when I get to see it in the Cinema I will be more pleased. Eaitehr way the fact that is has many of the Girly favorites will mean that us SciFi geeks will be able to take our otherwise uninterested women to see it.
  8. Nah our nostalgia is ancient history to him. Like would you be happy back in 1984 if your dad given you a wooden doll dressed in army fatigues when all you wanted was the G.I Joe in Coldwar Nato outfit with realistic voice and hair.
  9. Yup Brave guy doing it to an original. I never got an original but have several recast ones waiting for paint.
  10. I love your work
  11. Am I right in thinking that in Canada Guns are for display and in Texas the idea it to try and wear it out through use, while in the U.K we all just sit arround and wonder what it would be like to own one and not be a criminal.
  12. The whole proccess is sped up the stronger the solution. I think the strongest you can get over the counter in the U.K is 10% At that strenght it will lightly bleach your hair and take the dye out of your clothes, but wont melt your lungs unless you decided to try and drown yourself in it. You do really need a nice and sunny place for it to work well though. Just for intrest the bits I bleached are still minty white. They have been stored in a Hasegawa kit box and left on the top of the cupboard in th esame room they were bleached. direct sunlight only helps the yellowing process along. I have stuff that has spent 20+ years in a sealed box in a dark dry cupboard and it has still yellowed out.
  13. What ever you build it will be a really well watched thread here at MW.
  14. Placed my order thanks Petar. Now get busy with the next set
  15. This is gonna be a worth while build I think, hard work though
  16. Yup this will be one of those If I dont buy it I will die kits.
  17. My collecting had slowed up long before the economic fall of started to show to the masses. Mostly just down to space. I stopped buying toys and settled on models, now that I have a several year back log and a whole cupboard full of never gonna builds. I only get the if I dont buy one I will die kits or occasional toys. when I really got going in Macross and TF collecting I was like an over paid salior in a whore shop I just bought everything, but now as I have ticked most of the boxes im happy. I was doing IT in a large (the largest) media group in the world, got to travel all over the world for my job etc so that funded my buying and often helped it. It is so easy to send stuff home in a flight crate that is half full of work equipment but being laid off 2 weeks before xmas due to the company wanting to artficially inflate the share price for a deal they were doing, sucked a bit although the payoff/bribe would have kept me going till the end of May. I have managed to get another job in a security systems company working in the IT devision who mantains all the production computer systems, Irronically they have been largely recession proof and are making money, mostly down to the fact that they have factories and offices in virtually every country in the world. On the flip side all my squireled away savings for my pension and house buying fund have taken a masive hit as a lot of the money was tied up in stocks related savings. Add that now to the fact that the U.K goverment now owns the bank and is intent on spending the public money like water to bail out its own cock up and very bad idea. As of yet I havent had to sell anything yet, and hopefully wont have too as I wouldnt get the price I paid for some of the stuff. I count myself as very lucky as a few of my friends are now job less or on reduced hours and barely able to make ends meet.

  19. Good work there kyekye. Come on you painter guys let see some more of this type of thing.
  20. Best thing to use is lead fishing weights they come in all sorts of sizes and can easily be cut up. Alternatively use lead shot type weights, the kind that fishing types squeeze onto the line. They are cheap and if you mix em up with epoxy or glue you can get them to stick in and stay put.
  21. I think its all gonna boil down to... Cylons = Humans and Humans = Cylons.
  22. Cast out of resin yours for only $7000 and $1500 shipping via dedicated courier.
