  1. They always look good in a new coat of paint
  2. These things are great and soooo cheap.
  3. Thanks gonna give it a go
  4. Hell I thought that when it was current, for the same reason that I thought Peter Davidson's was odd to say the least. I often wondered how the Daleks and Cybermen didnt recognise the doctor after his regeneration, he is mostly the worst dress person in the universe. Dalek 1 " who is that Humanoid" Dalek2 " i dont know but his clothing is wrong" Dalek1 " He must be the Doctor" Dalek 1 and 2 "EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE!!!!"
  5. I was thinking Super glue but as these are the Hasbro 12" Power of the force figures you have to slip the armor over the GI Joe/ Actionman figure after detailing and I aws thinking that Super Glue is not too flexable it wouldnt survive, these leg and arm parts need to be pulled and pushed a bit to get round feet and elbows etc. I an thinking that I would cut them on the inside leg and inside arm to hlep hide the joins, the stuff is Rubberised plastic and cuts really easy with a craft knife.
  6. Like the detail level here. I have a few of the 12" figures that I was considering doing some work on. The only problem with the Storm troopers that Hasbro did is the hands and the arm and leg armor is way too big and needs to be altered. I have another armor set that is much tighter and fits a dragon figure the dirrernce in detail is like comparing a 1/55 to a 1/48. Any one have any ideas of how to re-join the rubbery armor after I cut it to slim its width down. Sorry Im not trying hijack this thread but a quick answer or pointer would be great.
  7. Circular works for me but sometimes you have to do straight because of position previous paint etc. That said I was using a needle file eairlier as this was the best for what I was doing.
  8. I think that you all may want to go to http://www.tv-ark.org.uk/ It has loads of stuff on the oldies from right back to the 60's, pictures and videos, all types of programs are included even the news and channel i dents. It is at the moment mostly U.K stuff but this is o.k seeing as how the U.K imports a lot of its t.v anyhow. The international section is growing though. Some tasters Valkyrie Nut just for you. Where would the world be without D.M Mickey's slightly hard James Bond like cousin My favorite. The best a slightly fat friendly dragon with a Yorkshire-esq accent who just wanted everyone to be friends. all together ..... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The oposite to Ghostbusters, Live in a house without Ghosts, then you can hire some. Not forgetting the likes of the Clangers, Bagpuss and Willo the Wisp these programs have already got a masive cult status, and you can get them on DVD they are excellent for when you come home from the pub after an night on the wobble juice.
  9. So where on the memory stick does it save the pictures after ? Also where is the best place to get CW cheat from I did a search a few days ago and found various sites claiming to have it.
  10. So what your saying then is there were quite a few left over drugs from the 60's.
  11. * "down the helterskelter faster and faster.... Jamie" this is so lost on anyone not from the uk I remember watching the very first episode the very first time it was on T.V, it premiered just after ButtonMoon which also premiered the same day. Oww that was nearly thirty years ago.
  12. Oh curve ball I saw in the news earlier that they were considering Matt Smith for the part, well its settled now. matt-smith-named-as-11th-doctor-who
  13. That kinda makes me glad that U.K ISP users cant see it.
  14. Well as promised I am reporting on my findings. I decided to just go and leave the bits in long term. Everyday I looked and everyday bubbles formed on the plastic. Each day I also gave them a shake to let the bubbles off and to re orientate the parts. not sure that this made any difference but I made me feel like I was actually doing something other than watching a jar full of mild acid and some 20+ year old toy parts. After about 10 days I was noticing that all the parts were turning into dust................................................................ Only kidding after that 10th day I noticed no actual difference, the parts were minty white already. So as eugimon said I suspected the major part of the H2O2 had broken down after a few days. I must add at this point that they were in a sealed jar. I did open the jar once or twice to let out any trapped gases as the tamper button in the middle did get a bit harder as gas built up. Good old fashioned Jam jar available in most grocery stores comes with free food inside. This one had Tomato and herb stock base mmmmm!! The test Pilot. He's old , He's bold , and his head fallen off The test pilot complete with previous owners detritus and my addition of Boot leg arm and back pack after I robbed them for another Valk. You can really see the difference between the minty white Bootlegs plastic and the yellowed out Bandai equivalent. You can really see the difference in colour on the leg parts between the painted and plastic sections. Next step was to dissasemble and clean in warm water with a nail brush all previous owners gunk off which mostly consisted of food and several bath times as far as I could tell, I didn't want this reacting with the H2O2 in any way. Just add to the jar and cover with H2O2, you can already see the bubbles forming only after the few minutes it took to get my camera and take the picture. Leave in sunny window and wait... Fast forward 24 days and you get Not so many bubbles forming now as The reactive ability has almost gone. When I opened the bottle I noticed the Bleachy smell had almost gone suggesting the H2O2 was nearly all converted to plain ole H2O. A good rince under the Tap/Faucet, some drying and assembly later and you get. The only casualty here was the paper based decals which had all lifted when they dried they just fell off leaving the backing and the glue behind. This cleaned off easily and left no tide mark of colour showing the plastic was back to factory white again. The decals were shot any how so no real loss, a quick trip to reprolables for me The wings aside from the obvious red paint scuffing, an easy fix were as Bandai intended. A comparison shot showing the non treated leg next to the Treated one. A trip to the local hardware store and I go myself some of those old fashioned preserves jars with the snap fast lid these are big enough to fit the whole torso in in one go. This will do for the rest of the old timer. One thing to note the previous owner did leave some plasticine inside the legs to keep the landing gear inside I don't know why as it worked just finemaybe it was to stop little fingers getting hurt. I removed this from all the parts except one where by mistake some got stuck on a sticker, the area covered was undamaged by the H2O2, although as mentioned above it fell off due to it being paper. This merits some experimentation with the likes of Rubsigns and paper decals etc. Next stage after this will be to treat my Brothers original Bandai Jetfire as it is so yellow that its almost the right colour for a VF1 D. Hope this helps some of you out there.
  15. He was kick ass in Serenity. If they carried over some of that type character attitude the Daleks best stay in the Void where its safe, especially if he brings a sword.

    Game Glitch on MAF

Most likely as with usual computer program errors there are more variables to this lock up issue than playing with Misa and watching the whole intro etc.
  17. Thanks for the tips and great build

    Game Glitch on MAF

Happend to me not long ago I just assumed it was either me or my psp batt being low so I just turned off recharged and when I restarted it was ok. I do Chop and change the operators around a fair bit so maybe I have just been lucky. I also skip the intros, once seen not needed IMO.
  19. Oh mine did that, I just thought it was me.
  20. I think the problem with the line art and Yamato Vf19 is that you have a Grey area between what is shown as a YF19 and a VF19. My take on it is the YF being the prototype has a different gun to the fully commissioned VF19. Add to that the various hybrids built by different companies under licence (in the Macross universe) and you get a whole lot of discrepancies. Best bet is go with what you like best. Nobody here will blame you for that.
  21. Yeah I bought Blackaces's one, since then I have not seen another on ebay and I do look quite often, maybe a little too often . As far as the MW sale forums are concerned I could well have missed one or two. the shame of it was in 2003 I saw one in Aki for £15 and didnt get it although I did get the 17 that was with it for £15 Trouble is once you have got one for cheap you kinda want them all cheap. The most I have paid for a Wave 1/72 was $80 IIRC I think the problem with the 19 Blazer was it was not made in as many numbers as the more common KAI and 17 Much easier to get a Kai and mod it into a Blazer than wait for one to come up. What I really wanted was the Sound booster Kai Missed a few of them over the years, they do tend to go for high prices though.
  22. LOL and that was the Fox 7 news syndicate if Im correct. Since they are owned by News Corp who also own 20th century fox and half the worlds media companies you'd think they'd know already that next years schedule is full of remakes. Good find though :0
  23. well thanks for that I wasnt sure if that option would let you view them out side of the psp but as you are showing it here I guess its a jpeg or something. Better look on my memory stick as I did some weeks ago when I first got the game.
  24. Except anyone out side of the U.S of A cant watch them. How is it the U.K can have the last series running here one episode ahead of the U.S but we cant get the webisodes except on youtube. Hell I even got my DVd of the miniseries before it was released in the the U.S in the DVD store on the High street near my house. Come on T.V people we have this thing called the internet please use it properly and to your and our advantage.
