  1. Count me in at least for one!! I'll translate this and put it up on the spanish section.
  2. Anybody getting franky? http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/review?scode=FIGURE-000794&page=top
  3. God damn it!!! I thought I was out of the plastic plane crack by default... then they had to make a new one... To the lineart experts: is the design just a 25 with delta wings and the missile thing or does it have more to it. I do have to say that I'm a bit sick of the wing backpacks in battroid.
  4. I'm down for one 1/60 for sure and maybe one 1/48. Your mom rocks!!
  5. Awesome fight scene. Thanks for sharing! BTW, looks like Hot Toys has followed Sideshow in regards to pricing on hulking armors: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/marvel-iron-man-igor-mark-xxxviii-hot-toys-902129/
  6. Son tan hermosas estas valks pero muy molestas para transformar... La verdad es que me gusta más la armadura en el custom de Alto. Queda bien con el blanco.
  7. That las pic together with the Blowsperior makes me want to cry... Beagle was so close You did some AWESOME work there!!
  8. i really don't give a rats ass about the legal jungle regarding HG but that pic had me rolling on the floor ... the head inside the cat... that eyepatch...
  9. Now this is how you do a freaking combiner: The legs can be adjusted in three different heights: Short Medium Tall More of Peaughs pictures here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discussion/635101-mmc-feral-rex-mega-thread-1683.html#post10146434 These are samples; very early in the case of the arms. The final yellow is the one Leo has (the rhino has the old shade).
  10. If you need more reference material: http://gamu-toys.info/goukin/yamato/zent/zent.html
  11. The RotF Leader Prime was an awesome toys but the engineering really was a bit over complicated for kids. It takes a long time to transform and some parts are really difficult. Don’t find it weird that Hasbro decided to dumb down the designs since then. We should consider ourselves lucky to have gotten such a fantastic toy like RotF Leader Prime. It even puts recent "Masterpiece" toys to shame. And that is coming from a design that had to deal with the crippling limitation of having lighs ans sounds. That said, as a first look into what the new movie design will be, I have to say a big “meh”. Incredibly generic looking and boring with that cybertronian “clothing”.
  12. Cool video review and congratz of getting the yellow one. I have Eva-02. Very imposing figure. The red is just pure aye candy!!
  13. Guillermo del Toro direct the intro for the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXIV. Some Jaeger vs Kaiju in the background at the beginning. Quite an awesome intro chuck full of references to sci-fi and horror films classics.
  14. This thing is getting funnier and after episode 5 the Korra plot might have more to it. Good to see that Mako's character is getting interesting.
  15. Wish I could give FR that display, damn toy is looking like it will own every other piece in my case lol MMC says the gold parts on FR will be more vibrant.
  16. Half of it was boring but the team building it set up was nice. It’s still a bit rough but now that the setting and the team have been established next episode should get the subjacent plot rolling for real. I still have faith in Agents of Shield because unlike other similar shows of “weird thing of the week” it actually draws stuff from a mythology that has been set up before (thanks to the movieverse) instead of them having to set it up slowly. None of the usual shadowy-organization-screwing-their-discoveries. Here they are the ones in control seeing as they are “Shield”, the top in getting things undercover in a proactive way, after all. In two episodes it either picks up to have life of its own moving away from a "Warehouse 13 but with heroes" or it stays leaching the movieverse references for the rest of the season until it runs dry. If they could get a vibe similar to Warren Ellis’s Planetary but in the Marvel Universe this show would be awesome. Cool to see Yeah, those two are definitely the weak link. They feel redundant. Have cosmic rays fuse them into one single being with an easier to understand voice or something... And like Mr. March says, the music is boring.
  17. It's Takara calling dibs on everything they can to discurage 3Ps
  18. But that was in continuity and the presence of Batman played a role in there. Here they are talking about a time before there were crazy people in costumes doing crime or stopping it. If it was a Lowis and Clark type of thing then I would be interested. What the Marvel Shield series has going for it is that it is set in a world were there are tech crazy billionaires, giant green monsters, aliens and gods running around.
  19. Rest assure that the creator has an ending planned. He actually aims to complete his manga in 20 book volumes. The last one was the 11th. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-09-25/attack-on-titan-creator-aims-to-end-manga-in-20-volumes You know they “could” always stretch the anime but NEVER as much as Naruto. That thing is still going in manga form. When a manga series has an ending they normally end the anime or if they catch up to the manga they go with a different story. Full Metal Alchemist was popular and the first anime had its own ending.
  20. NYPD blue but the NY changed to G... and no bats... Why doesn't WB just hire Marvel to develop their movie/TV comic book licenses for them and be doen with it?
  21. Fully agree with the positives. I just finished Firefly and it is very nice to see a familiar set up in that plane. Shepard!! Really liked how they use the shared movieverse. Since I’m familiar with the classic SHILED iconography I was wondering when a flying car was going to turn up lol. Really liked it as well as the other cute comic references here and there. "With great power comes a lot of weird stuff" hehe Now the biology and tech geeks got on my nerves. Couldn’t understand them much over all their tics.
  22. Here you go: Here you can see lots of comparisons: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-reviews/957190-mmc-mastermind-creations-r-03-feral-rex-bovis.html The plastic is smooth. Best feeling plastic I've touched in a long time. And I can't stop transforming and posing it!! Now that I look at them, a lot of my 3P TF and MPs are irritating or just don’t have enough character for me to want to play with them. Same thing with a lot of my other expensive Japanese “collectibles”. Really makes you see that most valks, pretty as they are, are a pain in the ass to handle. With the Bandai ones it is always "oh, have to be careful here not to scratch the paint”, then getting the loose joints, then getting stabbed or just plain put off by the overcomplex transformation (looking at you 171). Almost same thing with the recent Yamto ones. The 17 even made me bleed… actually the last fun valk that I couldn’t stop transforming like Bovis was the 1/48. Like I said, valks are gorgeous to look at and their engineering is praise worthy but I think that after Bovis I’ll go for stuff that actually is fun to handle in my collection.
  23. Screw that neon lion. Now Bovis, that there is a toy worth its price! Great plastic, really big and heavy and FUN (colors look a lot better in person too).
