I still think recasting a set of fast packs, modifying them so the are removable and mount on a hcm, and then recasting the finished product would be super cool. I always wanted a hcm seeker

BoBe-Patt means the sticker, not the printing. All my jetfire boxes have the tatsunoko symbol on them somewhere [8+] but only one has it as a sticker rather than printed on the box. At least I think thats what he means. I wish either of my matsu's was in the box they came in rather than a box that fit... I would know more

couple toolboxes with tools inside and lots of parts (mainly paintgun parts). Work on models on coffee table now. workbench... I don't even know. On the top of the pile is assorted electronics and stuff I still need to sort through since the move, ranging from camaro rims to hamocks, bathroom fixtures to toys. I try not to look at the pile as it sometimes shifts and blocks the door As for modeling... I do that on a sheet of glass. I've got a bin or two of mostly complete customs I keep meaning to sort through, a few complete ones just needing paint touch ups, etc. Musha style 1/55 coming soon

gets bigger? So I could take a yammie 1/60 gbp-1s and make it 1/55 scale?!?!? I could make super deformed fast packs for a 1/55?!?!?! I could make a really big 1s head???? I want to know more

I had a set of them and around $20 is about right. I had the strike set though. I still have the seeker from your set just cause I like seekers. Think I paid $5 for it. The variable larger size sd ones are really fun. About the same size as joke-mahines and the gun even shoots. The boxes have even cooler "pi-pi-pi" batman sound effects

a drill was the best you could come up with??? If a drunken frat boy is going to trip over your robot in the middle of the night it should have something nastier than a drill. Maybe a rusty kitchen knife ducktaped to it. Chainsaws are more fun. Reciprocating saw would work to. Flamethrower... I personally think it would be a fun target for my crossbow

"Unmolested Camel Toe Bagel" http://i10.ebayimg.com/01/i/03/c9/02/34_1_b.JPG I really like how they specified "Unmolested" do I really want to know what you were looking for kam? hey... I just noticed I'm "Global's Pipe Holder"!!! Does that mean I have to give it back when I'm done?

and how much does a custom like that cost? Specifically... say I supplied a yammie 1/60 strike that I wanted to look like a jetfire? How about painting a unique custom? I'm real good at making stuff but don't have the desire to paint them once I build them. Just curious.

well... here is an auction I was bidding on just for giggles as I want a seeker box. Unfortunately it came without seeker armor so wasn't worth the selling price for me. Does have a strike with jetfire armor thrown in though. Informative for anybody? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...AMEDW%3AIT&rd=1

I believe www.smooth-on.com has a sampler pack availible that should get you started.

the destroids and glaug might be worth it... the rest looked like stuff not worth bothering with.

I just checked the only strike box I have and it's smooth. I got it from monkey a while back. Don't know if that helps. Have you checked the internal documentation to see if there are any other differences that might indicate a later run? Oh yeah... whatever bobe doesn't take off you I will. He was supposed to stop after completing his FIRST strike and give some others a chance . Got any spare seeker bits? I sooo wanna start recasting but nobodys selling a seeker at the moment

some casters do that to increase strength as you mentioned. Why depends. SOme resins are a lot more brittle/fragile than others. I know jesse reinforced many of the parts for his strike set with great success. He also dyed his resin to be a better match to the original. Monkey nugget [or whomever does his casting] provided me with a recast strike cannon of remarkable quality and strength. Unlike most resin it would actually flex.

just open all the windows and use a fan for circulation. Not like your making meth

most stuff needs to be exposed to air to dry, even concrete. Putting a coat of paint on locks in moisture, exposing it to air allows it to dry. In the future make sure everything is dry before you paint. Attempting to salvage this one... you can scrape off the paint and paint it again after a while. You can also drill a number of really small and shallow holes into the piece so it can dry from the inside out. Then you'd have to fill the holes, let it dry, and touch up the paint. you might try just putting it as is in a small confined space with a lot of the desicant packs labeled "do not eat" for a few days. Rice might work but grains would stick and ruin the paint I'm guessing. Hope any of this helps.

I know you can soak resin wings is warm water and flex them back into a non-sagging state, but I always did it before painting so I have no idea what will happen to your paint. as for the bleeding of yellow... I don't think it heat from a closet. MAybe an attic in florida, but not a closet. What paints were used for the custom? Was it primed first?

You hear that, Xstoys? Xstoys wasn't the only one to hear I want one of these now to. It's so ugly I don't need to change a thing

all the old die-cast takatoku/matchbox 3" destroids were 1/144 scale. You had spartan, defender, tomahawk, and gladiator [each availible in two colors] availible from both companies. Fro the vf... the die-cast were only made by takatoku and are kinda lame/rare. The destroids are pretty cool and not that expensive on ebay.

tis not a joon's but is an absurd price, especially for something not even as good as a joon's!

how many episodes per season? I own 6 southpark dvds and they are the collection style so 4 episodes per dvd and it's not "complete" by a long shot as I have all of season 1 on my pc and not on dvd... just wondering. Does it have "penis envy"?

just repyed to the pm. Hopefully chowser sees this post and can clue you in to anything I forgot. Basically... remove the neck piece from the nose cone assembly and leave it attached to the head. Trade heads still attached to neck plates. Reattach neckl plates... your good to go. Basically... where the neck plate attaches to the nose cone... a post on either side of the neck plate fits into recessess between the upper and lower halves of the nose cone. This is standardized for all 1/55 [probably not mpc's, though I have never checked] The head itself is attached to the neck plate with a spring&screw combo. There is a diameter issue of the neck plate mounting point and the head mounting recepticle if you vary a 1s head with anything else. I've only dealt with the 1a,1j,and 1s with head swaps so if your doing a seeker or o' I'm not sure. IF I dig up any pics I'll post them. edit in... I checked my pm, both sent and saved, and couldn't dig up the detailed instructions I did for chowser. I did dig up his reply ... "ok, got the neck piece switched, now i gotta wait for the paint to finish drying before I attach the head. I'll try to get the 1A head out to you sometime this week." So I guess it is definately a 1a-1s problem. PM chowser and see if by chance he saved my instructions as my memory is shot
