I don't have a boot...but i guess i will soon enuff.... I have an original reissue fire valkyrie....and its quality is pretty near boot quality.....well not the toy itself...but the design. The materials were pretty ok but nothing to shout about. Bandai screwed up with their macross 7 license. In any case, i'm sure it can't get any worse considering the originals weren't a "masterpiece" (woah...dual meaning here, mates) to begin with. And yeah i'm an international bidder so i forked out about 30 bucks for shipping....so it was kinda painful for the pocket. I had both the bandai 17 and 19. I now have the 17 and 19, fire and blazer, ko's. I was waaaaaay less than impressed with the bandai ones and the boots are close enough for me, especially considering I got all 3 for the price of one of my bandai's. I would highly recommend against getting the bandai fire valk. If you found the ko floppy you won't notice an improvement with the original. I'm a die-hard bandai fan but I gotta say yammie did the 19 soooooooo much better.

educate me both the stickered and the painted had room for the symbol... not a sticker moved off something else and put on a jetfire wing. It's even peeling! Without a good look at the head lasers I can't say whether they moved a sticker and backplate to a different jetfire or replaced a wing on an actuial matsu. I'm betting on moving the backplate though looking at what I can see.

any help? I only have the one scan somebody supplied me with way back when...
-
pretty much however I got them. If they had stickers/decals applied then thats how they sit. If they came with an unused decal sheet, the sheet stays mint. I know how much an unapplied jetfire sticker sheet is sells for and lord knows I'd rather use repro stickers on a jetfire thats not mib. Granted... I very much look foward to the time when my customs are ready for some repros from "anasazi" [probably spelt wrong]. whats really fun is saving up all the stickers from a bunch of toys and covering a 7" destroid from head to toe with whatever you can find ... at least thats what the guy I got a majority of my loose collection thought aparently At least the macross stuff almost made sense compared to the "hello kitty" insignia's on the battlesta ships

a declare out and out fraud on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW can anybody else spot why? This one irks me soooo much... How does one report such sellers to ebay and make them suffer??? Lord knows I can take a pic om my stickered and my painted matsu to show ebay why this SOB should have sharp hot pointies placed somewhere unpleasant, but is it worth my time.
-
i'm actually more interested in the seller's banned cartoon vcds Dat Pinche Haro! ... pm me. I'm a big fan of supressed media as well. I can hook u up with 80% of whats on the list plus some other odd stuff the seller doesn't have yet for the cost of shipping+.30 for blank cds. I won't even charge for depreciation of my burner

maybe if he had a pic of the collection... maybe if he wasn't proud of a action figure varient... maybe if I was on crack and didn't have better things to spend my money on... like more crack

mechanically sound and in need of a paint job... I can probably help you out. Did you score the conversion kit or just the armor? I'm putting in my smooth-on order this week and will probably be experimenting while I try and track down a boxed seeker, so if you need the head/wings/cockpit let me know.
-
jetfire and the super o' come closest to the original seeker body as it has a blunted nose. If you are going to be painting it to look like an original you might as well score an inexpensive mechanically sound jetfire as yellowing won't matter since your painting it. on the other hand I did like how my seeker set looked dry mounted on the brownie. Ican take pics of a couple side by side with a real seeker if you want. Keep in mind I have a real seeker, but only rob's armor.

it just me or robot chicken not funny...

?? maybe I was a little inhebriated at the time... but it really did qualify as the darkest sketch ever. I could see that bit turned into a movie like four rooms Some of it drags. I thought the voltron thing exceptionally stupid myself, but loved the great pumpkin vs the kite eating tree.I guess like south park... if you give it enough time they will mock something you know. -
wanna be witches LOL http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW

with your help and the ebay gods willing... soon probably be a long time before I'm even close to your ability though... but I can hope.

me personally... I did the entire piece. I do kinda go overboard with the citadel spray matte though... I use it on my car. When I painted the figs for the snow dome I used citadel water based acrylic so I had to go kinda heavy to make sure it would hold up underwater. You can do everything, or just certain areas. As it gives a slight "gloss" look I like doing everything so it looks uniform. theoretticaly you could use clear nail polish over just the stickers... but I have never experimented so can't say how well it would work.
-
I know when I was making chess sets I'd use citadel clear matte sealer over everything [including stickers/decals] and never had a problem. I even made a snow globe that had what I painted submerged with no problems. Like paint, make sure the spot you put the sticker is clean and free of debris before you apply it. I have a number of old loose transformers and many stickers are still in good shape, some are not. Any where they get rubbed they are more prone to coming off. Excessive handling... they come off. Immersion in water... they come off. Cat urine... they come off and smell. You get the idea. I have never had a decal/sticker cause discoloration, but I have noticed that the covered area doesn't discolor at the same rate/degree as uncovered areas. PRevent yellowing by covering the toy completely with stickers???

what mech said. now jetfire just needs some gbp

here's a takatoku tv max... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5969322070&rd=1 Looks ok but I wouldn't spend that much.

send you a couple options and the piece of spruce was what you went with. reminds me of toddlers having more fun with the boxes the presents came in on x-mas

rob is exceptionally busy at the moment constructing a house. Between permits, contractors, traveling, etc he put all his hobbies on the back burner. I'll ask him about the stampy next time I chat with him. If it was him then is was 1/55 scale though. I put this old pic up in the anti armor thread but I don't have any more images of it. Got pics of other strange valks though.

Now this is what I call a collection

star control 2??? I have my genisis because of star control 1. Granted I can also play SC1 on my dreamcast and x-box. ten years my butt... X-box is doing 90% of it right now. Friend has one with a 200 gig sporting damn near every rom and emulator up to gamecube and psx1. I was playing nes river city ransom on it a few nights ago LOL. It was cool enough having every nes, snes, sega, and genisis game playing on the dreamcast... but x-box handles so much more so much better. And to think that for less than $400 you can have more games than eiher of those rooms stored on 1 shelf! Even without a super huge hard drive you can fit every 8 bit game ever made on one dvd. Most importantly... you can have every game... even those unreleased and imports you never had the chance to play. I need to do my system soon. -
would this work? Just a pic I found in my archives of a "stampeed valk". Looks like it could take out just a little more than your typical vf
-
don't feel bad about asking. My 1/55 lovin butt had mad issues the first time I played with the 19 and 21. Lots of patience as I didn't want to force anything. I know there were step by step directions for the non-fp ones way back when but I don't know if they are still around.
-
he's been here for years and has done nobody wrong, just be patient as unlike some of us he does have a life.
-
lord knows I have no intention of recasting a 1/48, but maybe upsizing a set of 1/55 or 1/60 seeker bits to fit... Taking things apart isn't a problem, nor is casting casts. MAybe sombody could upsize a 7" destroid to 1/48 scale. So many possibilities

is that on the jetfire boxes? can you take a pix of that? I never noticed that before so I went and looked. Good catch Sephiroth, I'm ashamed I never noticed that it was on the first three boxes I checked so I stopped there. On the bottom left corner of the front of the box is where you will find it. Right under where it say autobot jetfire... it's the last word of the trademark information. I'll take a pic later if nobody beats me to it.
