There is a screw directly under the valk's head, it's recessed into the black piviot piece. Try tightning it down.

This might be slightly OT, but since I can't find the thread that was done about it, I'll ask anyway. Did Peter Jackson give a reason why he suddenly cut all of Christopher Lee's (Saurman) parts out of Return of the King??

Well if it's GBP-1 parts, then I will at least get a Super VF-1D out of it when my Super VF-1J loses it armor and gains the GBP-1 set.

you know this has to be a very good or a very bad movie if one of the mods looses his mind completely. Pray to lucas its good or better than the first one as in 3 or 4? the prequels mainia basicly killed my ability to count right. I am guessing very bad. Anyone getting the impression that George Lucas is getting just a little overrated??

I am just glad in both cases, the one here and the one in PA, the authorities got alerted right away. The last thing I want to hear about is a repeat of Columbine. Nobody should be making threats like those. Hopefully zephyr and the kid in Pittsburg get whatever help they need.

I liked Part 2 better than Part 1. That president charactor can take a long walk out an airlock and, like BankofKev, I really didn't care for most of the important plot events taking place off camera. With all the stuff that gets blown up in other Sci-Fi shows like Stargate SG-1, why were they so reluctant to show anything happening in the first part of this show???

From what I've heard, the die-cast Alternators get paint chips very easily. Judging by the prices, I might get both.

That is the luckiest game I have ever seen. To hit all those 1-Up's without getting creamed is pure luck.

Ok, there was a perfectly harmless desktop thread going in the Fan Works folder this afternoon, and now it's gone??? What happened?? I know Neptune's post was toeing the line a little, but almost all of it was Macorss related.

Good, I really like the VF-11B but with al the constant horror stories I was hearing about the VF-11B's hips I was hesitant to spend $$$ to get one and have it break immeaditly. Although fixing that heatshield should have been a really easy fix for Yamato, I wonder why they didn't fix it???

Ok, this probably has been asked and answered before, but since I can't find the answer I'll just ask it anyway Did Yamato fix the heatshield anf hip problems of the VF-11B when they upgraded it to the FAST Pack version?? I was hoping they used a heat shield design that did not require double-backed tape to attach it or hips that didn't break during the first transformation.

I've got a slight problem with the head on my Hikaru VF-1A. I now have three paint chips on the black part of the sensor eye due to the head hitting the inside of the left shoulder when I transform it, partly because the head antenna is a little too long to fit thru the head hatch without help. I have gloss, semi-gloss, and flat black acrylic model paint here and I can't figure out which one to use to touch up the chips. Any ideas???

Plus the fact that the FAST boosters eliminates the verical tails and rudders. Without them and some kind of horizantal stabilizers, any kind of manuvering would be almost impossible.

I heard a rumor on a couple of Transformers boards that two decepticons are in the works, Megatron as a M1A2 Abrams tank (close to his G2 form), and Starscream as a F/A-22 Raptor.

I can add more to that story. I saw a special on A&E a few weeks ago on Selleck and he actually could have done Raiders of the Lost Ark because of a strike (I forget by who) that delayed the start of filming of the pilot of Magnum PI by a couple of months which would have made it feasible for Tom to do both of them. I think the reason he didn't was because he didn't find out about the strike until it was too late and Ford had already committed by then. I still think Harrison Ford was the better choice anyway.

Boy, they sure picked an easy one for the third alternator, Hound was already a pretty realistic jeep. A minigun and/or TOW armed Hummer would be a interesting take for him though (Takara/Hasbro, are you listening???).

I've gotten a couple of bogus e-mails regarding my E-Bay and my PayPal account. You can always tell who the frauds are because PAYPAL AND E-BAY HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR BANK ACCOUNT PIN NUMBERS. Having worked for the fraud unit at my bank for the last three years, I can honestly say that I have never seen a legitimate internet business like E-Bay or Paypal ever need bank account information except for account numbers and sometimes ABA routing numbers.

At any time in either the SDF Macross series or in DYRL, is the full roster of Skull Squadron ever mentioned? I have a hard time believing there were only four members (Hikaru, Max, Roy, Kazakike (sp?)).

How about the VF-3000?? It looks enough like a VF-1 in fighter and Battroid modes that many people should pick up on it as a VF-1 successor, but especially in Battroid mode it looks more solid and stronger than a VF-1 plus it could feature missle pods in the larger shoulder areas ala the GBP-1 armor.

A VF-1 with full FAST Packs in a planet's atmosphere would be able to fly up, down, and straight but that would be it. With the added weight of the boosters and no vertical stabilizers and rudders, the valk would never be able to turn or manuver.

I personally like the black heatshield on Roy's VF-1S over the red/blue/green shields on Hikaru/Max/Kazikazi's valks (sp?). Black in that role just looks better.
