I had the same problem with my Super VF-1J last year when I knocked it off my desk. I super glued the piece, waited for it to dry then put a second coat directly over the break. It's held up fine since then.

Wrylac, you are missing SuperO's point. Repeating yourself page after page isn't going to change the fact that people here don't accept your version of the truth. Both of those ships look great, just one question, what kind of paint did you use for the SDF-3??

Either of the agressor schemes would look good, but a VF-1J with a SU-27 style light blue/grey/white scheme would look better (and I'm sure Vostok 7 would agree with me )

1) the single micro missles won't stay in place, but the double micro missles stay in place just fine. 2) I can not get the arms to lock in place in fighter mode with the armor on, they keep sagging down and making the gunpod's sensor touch the ground. 3) the RMS-1's fall off the pylons and the twin missle racks very easily.

I thought that the VF-1 used a side console mounted control stick, not a central mounted control stick?? Also that painted GBP-1J looks too glossy, but other than that looks pretty cool.

Start referring them to the older threads or something. This thread needs to start progressing. It's been the same thing over and over for the last 10 pages. It's frustrating to moderate, since I have to read the whole damn thing. I keep reading the same crap. That sums up my feelings too. This thread is way too repetitive for me. Ok, maybe I am missing something here, but how are HG's varied claims and the action they tried to take (C&D letters) similar to that letter?? The letter states that they have sued Tatsunoko, what their claim is (that proved to be true), and that they hope to develop more Macross products. That doesn't sound like HG's rhetoric at all.

As long as the pilot's hand has a actual stick to grasp (unlike the MPC pilot), then this one should be joke free. EDIT: Did someone delete the post I am referring too????

The closest thing to a General Discussion forum was the "Longest Thread". It worked for a while before two members (skullone and Red Comet) had a "flag" waving contest that started some genuine bad blood that caused the thread to be closed. No, it didn't. Neither decision said anything explicit about the derivatives at all. People here have interpreted the copyright split to come out either way on which company has what rights to make derivatives (and, more to the point, release them internationally). You can read the two district court cases in only the last few pages pretty easily. The oldest one is above, and the newer one is only a few pages back (or look at Wrylac's sig since he links to them both). I'd love to see what cwbrown has to say about what is implied in the Jan03 ruling. Hey wrlac, no flamebaiting please. I really don't want to see this thread get as ugly as the other one did.

Ok, I saw a commercial during Fox's NFL coverage of the Bears vs. Saints game for a movie that looks like it came from Japan called "The Returner" The commercial looked like it was an anime movie involving lots of different things transforming into robots, like in the middle of the commercial was a 747 turning into a piloted robot. Considering Robotech 3000 was Harmony Gold most creative work (I don't count the orginal Robotech since all it is a hack job of SDF Macross, Mospedia, and Southern Cross), I sure hope HG has it's act together befire the trot out their lastest project.

And you're suprised by this?? This is Macross World, no one here is happy unless we have things to complain about.

It's an OK mech, although I wish Toynami would: 1) move the nose gear back so that it's not under the radome 2) move the outboard missle pylons a little farther in 3) make the nose cone more narrower and more pointed (similar to the 1/48) I might get it if Toynami releases FAST Packs for it (I can't see why they wouldn't do it) I really do think the red/white/black scheme is far better than the altered CF scheme.

Is the GBP-1 armor being released with a VF-1J or is the armor going to be sold seperately, like the 1/48 FAST Packs??
