I was wondering about those too. They are way too high for bug deflectors (I don't think that's as big of a problem in Japan as it is here), they look more like wind deflectors but they are too high up the hood for those too.

That will work for Alt Prowl. That scheme reminds me a lot of G1 Prowl and the first version of RiD Prowl.

How can you say that G1 Jetfire is ugly?? It's arguably one of the best G1 out there. I can easily think of a dozen TF's that are much worse.

Transformers Auction This guy must be on drugs and if he is, I want some of his stuff. $60.00+$6.00 shipping for a set of TF's I can stroll into any Wal-Mart in my area and grab for about $10.00. The only new TF the Wal-Mart's in my area has is this set and the one with the Space team and Race repaint team.

Since Toynami hasn't had an original thought yet concerning SDF Macross, how hard would it be for them to "borrow" the SDF-1 tooling that Matchbox used to release their SDF-1 back in the eighties. It was the only worthwhile Macross toy they made. That would be a move that might actually work for them.

Personally, I'd pass. $175 is a little much for a yellowed Jetfire. Now a white one is a different story. That would be worth $175.

I bet when Bush and Co. get voted out in November, a lot of the talk of the F-35 replacing everything will die down. If the Air Force decided to drop the A-10 in favor of the F-35, the Army will grab them in a heartbeat to support the AH-64's. In my opinion, the F-35 is a big mistake, especially give the roles it is being tasked with. If the Marines want it for battlefield air superiority to cover their Harriers and copters, fine. But replacing the F-14D and the A-10 with the F-35 simply won't happen. The government (ie Rumsfield) already tried to replace the F-14D with the F/A-18E and that failed because the Tomcat simply out performed the Super Hornet.

This should be in the mods folder. Don't be suprised if this gets moved or locked.

Ok, the combined mode doesn't look bad, it does need work though. The individual lions need a lot of work. And in regards to the perceived anti-Toynami bias, they made quite a bad rep for themselves with all the hype they generated for the MPC VF-1 and they f***ed that up rather badly. And Blaine is correct: That is their perceived rep right now, fair or not.
