I believe this is the third time I've read a post by you, then I pick on you for it, then you explain yourself and actually expose some method to your madness. Instead of playing that crappy game repeatedly why don't you just make your point up front? Instead of saying "sigh", or "stop talking about the same crap", try bringing some substance before I have a chance to point out that you seem to be just spouting steam? As someone said earlier, new toys are what's going to be on the minds of toy fans. Yamato makes great toys. Discussion will ensue. Help guide it in new directions or ignore the rehashing.

Ooh it's been forever since I read the whole allegory thing. And, to be honest, it could have totally been written by a conspiracy theorist type guy/gal. Okay, the VF-0S could be made because it is similar looking and transforming to the VF-1 then? A VF-11 couldn't be made why? The transformation is pretty darn similar to the VF-1's. There seems to be some leap of logic from wanting more of something to not being pleased with what you already have. I want more because I like what I have received thus far. How am I bashing Yamato by clamoring for more? Why is it a problem to have multiple different threads discussing multiple different avenues Yamato can go in? This statement doesn't seem to deal with any of the economic issues but instead just skips to a conclusion. i'll bet you would have argued that the orignal Macross Plus toys would never have been made either.

I'm gonna fix that now. So i take it you have no opinion on the availability of the M7 license? I know Bandai had it at some point but seeing as they seem to be done with Macross for the moment, would that make it available?

How very very odd. Thanks for pointing that out! So what we have here is a VF-1D with a VT-1 head currently installed... but the option to convert it to a VF-1D later. Um, i'm guessing the word "original" in this item is incorrect.

If they follow it up with a Miria figure I might find myself re-enacting some Dark Helmet moments a la Spaceballs.

Does anyone know how plausible it would be for Yamato to pick up the Mac7 license? I'll bet that would help with them making more VF-19, VF-11, and VF-22 products because there would now be more variants available. You could get Guld's YF-21, Max's VF-22, and Miria's VF-22. OOoh, then we could also get a VF-11 GBP!

Actually, that's a painted VT-1 head. The Bandais have an all black head, this one has had the circle in the middle painted white.

Here's my newest count: 1/48 - 8 (LV, LVII, Hik TV, Max FP, Miria FP, CF, Roy Stealth FP) 1/48 Accessories - 3 (GBP, GBPII, S&SP) + 2 clear covers 1/60 - 11 (CF, CF TRU, Hik GBP, Max FP, Miria FP, Roy SP, Elint, VT-1, Roy 0S, Max QR, Miria QR) 1/72 - 6 (VF-19A, YF-19, YF-21, YF-21FP, VF-11B, VF-11B FP) 28 Yamato products including preordered items. I still don't do duplicates or DYRL items.

This thread rocks, I just got my first taka GBP and was super confused by the box. I come to this thread, and there you go, the boxes were just strange. NICE. I love MW Forums.

I can't wait to see box art for all the new releases. I think Yamato learned their lesson with the original LV and will never label anything "Limited Version" again.

They should release a third set that is Kazizake's VF-1A, Max's VF-1S, and Hikaru's VF-1S. That way there you could have every DYRL valk. I don't collect anything DYRL but it'd be cool to see a company finally do the full DYRL assortment (mainly max's 1S and kazizake's).

I think it's a nice idea but I probably wouldn't participate unless it was for a worthy cause... and after Graham won his fourth straight drawing I'd probably get suspicious.

I think all valks look better in battloid mode with Fast packs (except maybe the YF-21). In fighter mode I prefer them all without (with the occasional exception to art of the Vf-1).

wouldn't there be a gaping hole right in the middle of VF-11 and VF-19 if they lost an arm? Especially if they lost the arm that is connected to the shield. I'm just going off the toys though. The VF-1 didn't have a gaping hole in the middle when it loses an arm. In fact, you can't even tell my jetfire doesn't have any arms at all

looks to me like the pic is just crummy, the camo on the LV valk also looks gray-ish.

Somebody should PM me and tell me where to download anime for free!!! As it is, I'm stuck watching whatever is on Cartoon Network or one of the other networks. So far cool shows have been (in absolutley no order): 1) Trigun 2) Cowboy Bebop 3) Samurai Champloo 4) Street Fighter II (if for no other reason than the episode titles) 5) Patlabor movies 6) Vandread I've also managed to watch Orguss and Orguss II, they were spiffy.

NICE! The second set sounds like an easy winner, I don't collect DYRL stuff so I hope they sell Roy's VF-1S separately....

If Yamato re-did the Alpha and added a Beta with the same quality of the 1/48 Valks I would be THRILLED. Alas, I doubt it is to be.
