  1. I'll bet the next round of Roy arms will have the better pin so think of this as a blessing in disguise.
  2. I've never sold toys, and I don't ask the guys who sell me toys, but I know from other retail experience for luxury or not everyday goods that 100% is a pretty common mark-up.
  3. Maybe what I thought was the early Toynami was actually an early Beagle sculpt... that'd make sense since I thought it was bad. Either way, I'm not so keen on the Fuke pictures you have there but they certainly are no where near a deal-breaker. Looks like Fuke may also be the first to finally come with a headless helmet huh? That'd be cool. Yes Agent GHQ, there will definitely be a Bartley type Beagle released. I do think the Mega House line is dead... and I have no complaints about that. The more I compare them to the CMs or Beagle lines the less I like them. They are a heck of a lot better at being "toys" than the CMs things are (CMs toys can be soooo irritating) but they're fugly in bike mode and misproportioned as armor... and the rider figures are hideous (although the face sculpt on "Ley" was a lot better than CMs).
  4. The head sculpts on the Beagle/Toynami MPC Fuke/Rook look TERRIBLE in my estimation so far. The Beagle version looks like a Dr Seuss character of some sort and the Toynami version looks like something I, having no sculpting experience, would create.
  5. I love these Beagle toys.
  6. This doesn't apply to Eugimon but I feel like I should do a PSA after having implemented a credit card/merchant system: If you ever attempt a transaction, either online or in person, with your credit card and you get either an error message during processing that forces you to resubmit your data or have the person say "Hmm, your card didn't go through, let's try it again" then chances are your credit card's Internet reporting will show TWO transactions. Do NOT panic, this is just something credit card companies do to be conservative (although it sucks because while you are showing two transactions your credit limit is reduced by the amount of a transaction that does not exist). Credit cards show authorization attempts online, not actual sales. It can take up to a week for them to clear authorization attempts that never became sales from your online reporting (although they'll almost always do a check before sending you your legitimate statement). So, if you ever see a double transaction on your Internet reporting, and you remember a failed authorization attempt, wait a week before calling the vendor to find out if they need to refund you money. In most cases, in that span you're waiting to call and complain, the charge you would complain about magically disappears because it never received authorization. Over the last two years I've had to tell countless people "We only charged the cardholder once, tell them to call back next week if they're still showing two charges" and I don't think I've ever had a single person call back the next week.
  7. Finally updated that Ley post, twice the picture-y goodness for you now.
  8. Locks for the tail fins to hold them in place and a 1/48 style hip connection area, fantastic! The hip connection wasn't so bad once you got the hang of it but the new one does look more user friendly.
  9. Um, is it the $112 that's bothering you? Let's say OD was a charitable case and didn't charge for services, your total would still be $187 each!
  10. Interesting, was the "GBP" ever called the "GBP" in the original series?
  11. Yes, the Ozma with the GBP set will be different, at the very least it will come with the neck extension but it looks like it might also have a new head sculpt.
  12. Did we have a dedicated Comic-con thread on these boards yet? I'm going, it'll be my first, even bringing the girlfriend along. She loves watching me be nerdy. Ah, anyway, as to the topic of this thread, i would love to offer my assistance here but having never been to one of these I have no idea how hard it'd be to get this toy or if I'd be in a good situation for you. If no one else comes forward though shoot me a PM. I'm there for the whole darn thing so I imagine I'll have some spare time for toy questing.
  13. Um, get the 11 a year from now when it's marked way down. Right now I'd buy the 21... that's my favorite of the Mac Plus toys and it comes with more goodies than you can shake a valk at.
  14. You should go by what the design crew did for the models, not the animation, for the markings. Obviously things were kept pretty plain for the animation. All military bikes would have some emblems, numbers, warnings on them.
  15. Can't help on 1 but if Overdrive-inc has any they're guaranteed to be second edition since they sold out of the first edition instantly. 2) Ozma with GBP is either a late August or September release, it will not be an exclusive and should be readily available 3 and 4) the accessory packs are sold separately as exclusives, there have been no announcements they will ever be sold with the toys as a bundle set. This means you have to buy the toys and then find a way to buy the accessories (Luca's Ghost, Micheal's fold drive) separately.
  16. A visor? I don't follow.
  17. You pull off the sides of the backpack revealing a big hole. The missle booms in the fast pack set comes with new sides to the backpack. I can't remember if there's any way to hold them in place as to not have to worry about the backpack falling back. If you haven't seen my review on anymoon.com, I'd check that out.
  18. It definitely does vary but GCM wasn't very detailed to begin with... not many cartoons were back in those days. I think the best indicator of what should be painted on comes in the form of the sticker sheet provided. I suppose the argument could be that Beagle left it as bare as possible for those folks who really wanted a cartoony look but I think a super realistic model/toy should come with super realistic tagging.
  19. A tip for all of you who are upset because the seat comes so easily removed from what would be a fuel tank in bike mode. I found that on both my Stick and Ley I can tighten this area up quite nicely by making sure the shock (and everything attached to it) is in the perfect position. If your shock isn't clicked into the dead right spot then you get more slop up top because the fuel tank isn't pressed as far back as it can go by like half a mm.
  20. New post is up at Anymoon.com, check it out by clicking here.
  21. I'll bet the part count on that 1/100 with GBP is going to be sheer insanity.
  22. Another Keanu Reeves vehicle???
  23. My Beagle "Ley" finally passed customs and is in my possession. Sadly, I have to go out of town again on Friday and won't return until very late Sunday. I will try to put up a very rough post with first thoughts tomorrow evening but we'll see... if that looks like it's not going to happen I have another mospeada related post ready to go.
  24. I have an image of Graham holding several parts and saying "Aw crap, it's not a parts-former??"
  25. the newer ones didn't show up.
