Awesome, thanks guys. I'm cranking on it now while the wife and child nap .

I started playing with mine last night... even with all the pictures I was still surprised by the color. Talk about a swing and a miss! No scraped paint out of the box though and it definitely has the build quality we've come to expect since the V2 VF-1. On MacZero, I think I'll rewatch it soon (since it's a quick watch) but yeah, I remember it being sort of a hot mess. It really feels like they planned on it being at least another episode or so longer.

I don't think anyone was griping about your suggestions. It's a healthy back and forth between wishes and perceived reality. The 1/100 scale is a very difficult scale because the manufacturers can make it so good it seems to compete with the larger scale toys... but they can never quite make it as good as the larger scale toys which leaves people wanting more.

I think Mommar has very big hands. I hope this rebirth doesn't go the way of the Vajra toy.

Thanks Gakken. Yeah, I went a little nuts with this one. The text article is now up also though I'll probably add a pic or two to it and a little bit more info over the next day or so. Here's a teaser pic:- 17241 replies

There is something very nice about having a day to think about a preorder and then casually going to your dealer of preference and making the order... I'm in for one of each! That said, there's also something nice about paying nearly half as much (for Bandai releases)

Mine is in SF... Getting giddy.

Payment up front is only a problem if you don't have money now or if you think you're going to cancel your order.

Probably because they sold a LOT of Isamu YF-29s and said "Why did we make that an exclusive?"

If you thought the 0D color was wrong, wait until the beige Focker 0S comes out!

Untitled Neil Blomkamp directed Alien project

I didn't say "make Jaws II in space"... though 3D might add to the fun in better ways than Jaws 3D did. -
Can the lions move their legs out in an A stance? It looks like some of them have a little of that going on.

Untitled Neil Blomkamp directed Alien project

Isn't the story that the original Alien was pitched to the studios as "Jaws in space." That's what I hope future Alien films are... Jaws in space. Let them explore the more cerebral points in follow up Prometheus films with origins and the company dynamics there. Make alien "You're alone in a very big sea on a very small life raft and something very big keeps bumping your boat."
